How to Beat Yoimiya in a Friendly Fracas

Freeze her Cards to Avoid Damage

Yoimiya's deck relies on Pyro Resonance and attack increasing cards, which deal significant amount of damage piled together! Take every opportunity to freeze her cards to keep her from attacking.

Use Sucrose's Swirl to deal AoE Damage

Sucrose can trigger Swirl easily, making it great for dealing AoE damage and applying other elements to the enemy cards! You can even use her to be able to Freeze an inactive character card already affected by Cryo or Hydro.

Have Healing Cards on Hand

Healing Cards like the Favonius Cathedral or the Wangshu Inn are best to be used on the second or third round, to make sure that your cards can have high HP throughout the match!

How to Beat Yoimiya in a Serious Showdown

Take Out Chongyun First

Yoimiya on her own is already pretty strong; she empowers her normal attacks, which makes them pop more frequently as compared to using Skills since normal attacks cost less. Bennett provides strong buffs for the team, but Yoimiya's deck is pretty scary because of Melt that Chongyun can setup.

After taking out Chongyun, Yoimiya's deck will no longer be able to do Elemental Reactions, and therefore makes the challenge relatively easier. Take Yoimiya out next, especially if she's already loaded with a weapon and an artifact.
