Furina could be an exception I don’t know cause I didn’t pull for her but I do believe she needs another slot for a healer unless Neuv self healing is enough to trigger her party heal. So right now, the only hydro characters you can use with Neuv are Mona- Childe- furina. Neuv best team is taser (hyperbloom is up there) so no hydro could fit in that unless you have c1 to remove the sheilder and it’s the same for any other reaction teams you play him in.
Mona is a very good support but I agree that she is an odd pair with neuvillette, not because she’s bad in the support regard but because their are better like you said. Unless you have Neuv at c1 I wouldn’t recommend pairing him up with another hydro. He takes two slots, one for him and one for a shielder. Having another hydro is kind of a reaction loss (if that makes sense lol) and even the team with Childe is basically just solo hydro no reactions.

also I know Childe is often used for the extra NA but I’ve never seen anyone use him with Mona? Even if that is the case their are way better supports that’d benefit him more than her.
I meant that his best teams like hyperbloom or taser never use a second hydro other than furina (if he’s c1 or your not using a sheilder). Id only use furina in my hyperbloom if I were trying to use a hydro. Sorry for the confusion.

Seeing as Neuvillette has regained his full power seems like he should be buffed now... Double Charged attack damage and Pneuma and Ousia alignment. (JK)
I use raiden Skill > zhongli skill > Neuv burst > nahida burst then skill > Neuv skill and then just spam CA and it works perfectly fine and the enemies die before his orbs leave. It’s not that hard to manage if you know your rotations, his orbs last for a long time before they go so you can use your burst then supports/sub dps then just spam his CA. The only hydro I’d use with him is furina cause she’s the only one who actually brings something to his dmg, all the others don’t work.
Ideally you'd want to use burst then skill so he can do CA three times in a row without switching. Most supports don't have the support duration for his entire field time. Mona debuff lasts 6 seconds, Kazuha's buff lasts 8 seconds. Furina can keep up or Childe +1 NA/CA talent. Just put Childe in the team and not gaf about rotation. But you need C1 to play him with another hydro. These people just played whatever rotation so that's why they feel his gameplay actually "smooth" lol.
not for me, I find him easy and fun to use in comps with different characters, especially hyperbloom. Perhaps your rotation is flawed or something but he works in comps just as well as any other dps, him being able to solo is just another perk to his kit and something not common so that’s why it’s talked about more.
I don't think so, his team is fine; now with Furina it's even more fluid to play him thanks to having a reliable battery, sub DPS that fits him and Hydro resonance. It's mostly your skill in character rotation in general sucks

how so? I find him easier to play in teams then solo.
he is the definition relevant only when he is solo lmao. playing him in team feels like shit help.
thing is rapid pyro enabler gonna buff the other characters too. CA buffer sounds dope if they are not hydro.
He was released with almost no characters to support him. His best support is Kazuha which isn't exclusively for him but more of general buff; and even his hypercarry team is basically just to fill in his passive quota. I really wanna see him being a reaction Hypercarry in vaporize team, his vaporize damage is impressive but one factor that makes it niche is not the damage but practicality. Hopefully we will have some rapid Pyro enabler in the future same as Fischl or CA DPS support.
HP circlet = need sig.weapon/widsith
In some situations an Hp% circlet works better on neuvillette though the dmg difference is 1k most of the time
I have C1 Neuvillette and mostly use him in Hyperbloom team. I replaced Nahida with Mona holding Favonius Codex, I find Baizhu is more than enough as a Bloom enabler, very consistent Dendro application. Mona is also a pretty good particle generator + Hydro Resonance is very useful for Neuvillette. I will replace Mona with Furina when she came out.
