The Ruin enemies here have a lot of HP, so use characters that can deal a ton of Elemental Burst damage, like Raiden. Xiangling and Xingqiu are also useful since they can provide a ton of Burst DMG when swapped out.

Aside from Elemental Burst damage, use characters that can do Melt, Vaporize, and Overload reactions to defeat enemies as quickly as possible. Freeze can also work to keep the Ruin Sentinels from moving.

Use your Elemental Bursts

This challenge will increase your Elemental Burst DMG, so use it whenever it is available. It is also one of the objectives to complete the challenge to use your Elemental Burst.

Use Vaporize, Melt, and Overload Reactions

Reactions such as Vaporize, Melt, and Overload are useful in this challenge as the Ruin enemies here a ton of HP.

Focus on One Ruin Sentinel

When trying to defeat a mob of Ruin Sentinels, focus on taking only one out and the others will approach you.

Defeat the Ruin Hunter

When the Ruin Hunter appears, prioritize defeating it as fast as possible to complete the challenge. You don't have to defeat the other Ruin Sentinels to finish the challenge when the Ruin Hunter shows up.

You can attack its weak spot, which is on its head if it floats up to paralyze the Ruin Hunter

How to Beat Dire Straits

Take Out the Ruin Sentinels First

The Ruin Grader will heal itself if there's a Ruin Sentinel present. So when a Ruin Grader shows up, defeat the Ruin Sentinels first.
