What is the Hidden Strife?
Hidden Strife is an all-out battle event where you have to defeat enemies with the help of stage buffs. This challenge is like the Phantom Flow event.
The event will also feature a story about Diluc's new outfit, Red Dead of Night.

How to Unlock Hidden Strife
To unlock Hidden Strife, you need to reach Adventure Rank 25 or above, then complete Prologue: Act 3 Archon Quest and Diluc's Story Quest!

Can You Get Diluc Skin in Hidden Strife?
No, you can't get Diluc's Skin in the Hidden Strife Event. However, you can try out a trial version of Diluc's Skin during the event!
Can You Play Hidden Strife in Co-Op?
No, Hidden Strife is not available in Co-Op Mode. While you can't play with your friends, you can adjust the difficulty of the challenge though. Plus, there's a Co-Op Only event coming soon, the Reminiscent Regimen!

To start the first stage of the Hidden Strife Event, you must complete the Phantom of the Past Event Quest, the prologue that tells the story behind Diluc's Skin!

Story Behind Diluc's Skin
The event features the backstory of Diluc Skin, Red Dead of Night. There are event quests that would explain Diluc's outfit and why he doesn't have a vision in it. The first quest, Phantom of the Past, serves as the unlock quest for the event.
In addition to the backstory, we can use a trial version of Diluc's Skin in the stages and in the event quests!
Head to Falcon Coast for Stage Challenges
To start the challenges and see all enemies, head to the Falcon Coast in Mondstadt! You can tap on its marker on the map and it will teleport you in front of it!
Complete Two Types of Challenges
There are two types of challenges, Vicious Battle and Dire Straits! Vicious Battle features three difficulty levels: Perilous, Quandary, and Desperate.
Dire Straits will only unlock after completing the ''Desperate'' Difficulty in Vicious Battle Mode.
Hidden Strife Dire Straits Challenge
The Dire Straits has enemies as strong as the ones in the Spiral Abyss with a higher HP pool. There may be waves where you need to beat the weaker enemies first before defeating the boss or else it will regenerate.
How to Beat Dire Straits
To beat Dire Straits, you need to clear any challenge target needed to get the Afterimaged Might then focus on beating the required amount of Elite Enemies or more!
Get Afterimaged Might Buffs
The event is like the Phantom Flow Event, where you needed to complete a set of objectives to get buffs! The buffs are called Afterimaged Might.
Check Out the Ley Line Residue
Each challenge will have a unique Ley Line Residue that has its own special effects that you need to take into account while playing.
Defeat Enemies Within Time Limit
As seen in the sneak peek, Travelers need to complete the challenge within the time limit to get a high score!
