I'm not saying you're wrong in a team comp where Raiden + Beidou beats Dori. That is that, but this is this. Of course Raiden (SS support) + Beidou (Sub-DPS) will beat Dori in a competition of party buffs PLUS damage. Its simply not in her toolkit to do so. But in a competition of all 4-star supports, she's currently best ER battery in the game by far, and provides sufficient single target heals. The Jinni tether is very generous and is enough to cover misplays if you take damage

You're comparing a party wide battery charger (raiden) whose SS tier to a solo battery for main dps whose the bottom of S tier. That isn't really a fair comparison. I never claimed she was on par with a 5-star. Beidou on the other hand is more for sub-DPS than support. You can use FAV gs to force her into a support role but you gimp her damage. Even then, the total Energy she provides with that weapon is lower compared to Dori with a Fav GS. Again, Dori isn't for DPS, she's for ER buffs
Barabara - Though you can put Amber or thales on her, this is nothing Dori also can't accomplish with a Fav GS or Forest Regalia. Dori beats her in all cases except party wide healing. Sayu - Fav GS can also be used on Dori so she won't be beat as battery. However, you are correct in providing VV and Anemo, but that isn't the point of Dori. Qiqi - That is more for DPS and less about buffs, which again Dori is not a correct comparison for.
beidou also gives electro resistance reduction and dmg reduction. Thats 6 buffs in total with losing any damage.
raiden for battery and off field electro dmg and 100% uptime on superconduct cause ele skill is 10cd with 25duration
dori's off field burst electro damage is situation and requires proper positioning. Which will require your tesm to have shield against knockbacks if you want to keep that tether and her benefits alive. Tons of people say she's made for cyno but imagine cyno with beidou. She'll provide interuption reduction, shield, addtl dmg, ressonance. Whilst dori only provides healing and Energy restore which is already solved by ressonance.
dmg. Have you ever tried raiden,yelan,thoma,qiqi comp. Its insane. Undying while dealing tons of shit. Dori in the other hand only provides healing and Energy restoration. Her c4 passive is situational and with high Hp and ER stats that c4 becomes useless.she does no dmg. She is basically the electro ressonance made into a character. But other electro chars like raiden or beidou(fav sword) can already provide more benefits along with energy without sacrificing damage. Also dori's off
barbara yes. But she can use thrilling or amber for energy recstore and off field ohc. Also i think if you only think of sayu and qiqi that way youre playing them pretty wrong. You see sayu cna be built hybrid and has a good weapon wc is fav sword. That makes her a semi battery. Sub dps dealer. Vv shred. Healing. Off field anemo dmg. You just build her off field. Qiqi can be an elemental master paired with off field sub dps comp while maintaining 80-100% ohc uptime wc is tons of ele+phys

I dont think anyone's stressing here. It's just a discussion of why she shouldn't be undervalued as a healer and more importantly as a Main DPS battery. People are too hung up that she doesn't do damage, but fail to realize most good supports don't deal a lot of damage anyways. At the very least, I would always use Dori over Barbara, Sayu, and Qiqi as support units since all they do is heal
1st team comp. Bro why are you comparing Raiden to Dori. I'd think you'd at least realize how too much of a comparison that is 2nd Team comp. This is the exact type of scenario Im talking about. In a situation without Diona, Dori would be better, then you could swap our an extra Cryo unit instead of Beidou
