i use her lol, just for aggravate Cyno, thx for her burst and c6, i can abuse Cyno burst without worry to enemies elemental infusion
I'm still surprised that they keep it in S, her percentage of use in recent patches in Abiss ranges from 0.5% to 1.5%, roughly speaking, almost no one uses her.

not anon 90 but thats kinda an unfair comparison, Xinyan was designed back when the devs were still figuring things out and inadvertently made a god awful kit that excels at nothing

Ok, after checking her C6, she has cleansing capability and in some condition, this skill would be useful. But yeah, Spiral Abyss nowadays not applied aura self-infusion again, so.... . ..just wait she got her moments. MHY sometimes give 'hints' for a next patch (for example like A4 EM passive Yae and Kuki). Maybe, MHY would put aura self-infusion system in hard challenge like Abyss or Week Boss (yeah i know, another chars have 'cleansing' ability too, but at least she'll more usable)
But again, if you are just playing for fun, play with the characters you like, there are no statistics in the game and no one sees your results, and no one cares about them.
More recently, the percentage of use of it in patch 3.1 in the abyss was published, and she has a percentage of use of 0.3%. If we are talking about damage maximization and efficiency. No one cares that she exists, simply because there are better and more reliable ways.
If you like the character use it. There is no competitive element and statistics in the game. And no one sees your results. But if we are talking about the meta, fast clear, maximum damage and efficiency. It does not make sense to use her, since the DPS losses are too large.
This char is actually good for fast rotation. Lack of damage, yes. But if u need some fast Burst spam with electro reso (plus if u dont have Raiden or she's in another party), this char is actually usable
Ignore someone arguments if they bring Bennett, Ganyu, and Kazuha
No, it's just - yes you can use Dori, it's 100% ok but you lose so much DPS compare to other options. And you don't need Heal - Beidou Shild+ parry blocks all DMG.
Thats pretty much just comparison of dps ER support vs healer ER support lol
1%-5% is mostly youtuber/people want to try her in abyss during her release. after 3.1 she will have nearly 0% because they already know she suck lol
If you want a fuller picture, wait until the statistics on the use of characters from the Abyss are posted. I can only make a preliminary prediction based on my feelings. I think Dory will have between 1%-5% there, simply because she doesn't do anything that other characters or combinations can't.
Ratings have always been very relative (Unless of course the character is really broken and it's obvious), and based on people's opinions, which may not coincide with yours and that's fine.
I am Eula main, I have c5 Dory (working on Ganyu C2) I tried to get it to work for about 4 days, finally gave up. For Eulа, she is several times worse than the Fischl + Beidou combo. In any case, if you like to use her, play, there is no competitive moment in this game.
I agree she isnt SS tier. Her burst only has 6 tick but she's the best ER provider especially with fav short of Raiden. In the same sense that Bennett's usefulness isn't primarily from healing because of single target, so is Dori. Healing isn't really a high tier need in this Meta, especially with shields, thats why most of the character released have been some sort of special mechanic plus a bit of healing like kokomi's high off-field Hydro or Shinobu with Electro
