Stick with XQ imo for that comp. Yelan isn't ideal with Bennett because she doesn't scale with atk on her skills (HP instead) so Bennett's atk boost is just wasted on her. XQ works better here I think as he makes use of the atk boost from Benny.
My team is dilluc xingqiu zhongli and bennet I've been saving a lot of gems and stuff to go after an upgrade on my team. Should I try and get yelan and trade for my c3 xingqiu? I love the game but these decisions always make me anxious, please help
No. Better choose 2x HoD, 2x Nob or 2x TotM(debatable but 2x HoD is priority). 4x EoSF is also a option

Is on-field Yelan worth to use? I mean, her CA and ES force her to play as an on-field character..

If you are running 130% ER on Yelan then yeah probably 2pc 2pc is BiS. Thing is yelan is extremely Energy hungry so she will need higher ER, which EoSF just gets better with, even when you consider Barb + Skill dmg. Also are you forgetting that Polar Star and Mouun's improve her e.Skill AND Burst? those two things are huge DMG modifiers that are multiplicative. You're really underestimating just how much her burst dmg does compared to her Barbed attacks and e.Skill
Whoever made this guide clearly didn't test stuff with her. Atk stats increases her e skill and burst dmg by excatly 0%, so Polar star and Mouun's moon is not good on her, Favonius and Stringless are better options but Fav is recommended because of low base atk with high er + passive. 4pc EoSV is also not her Bis, 2pc mix-match of HoD, ToM or Noblesse gives around almost the same dmg to each other while 4pc EoSV has huge dps loss both to her burst and e skill.

Yeah Stringless passive is absolutely insane for her, unfortunately mine is only C1. I did end up replacing Skyward Harp with C5 Sacrificial bow though since her CR/CD was already high and flat attack doesn't do anything for her. Now I can do a skill-arrow-skill-arrow-ult-switch combo and by the time the ult ends she can do it again, super fun to use
Hey yelan is meant to be sub dps+support. Not a charged attack nuker like ganyu. Her burst deal roughly 3 times than Xingqiu's and she supports active character's damage up to 50% bonus
Damn.. that skyward harp on yelan is such a waste... here, my yelan with R5 stringless deals 39k on her elemental skill (89k with vaporize) and 11k each on her burst. 9/10/10 talent
She's weak. I compared the level 80 trial version yelan to my level 79 ganyu and she only does like 35% of the damage that my level 79 does on a full charged attack.
Emblem + Noblesse is obsolete since a 4pc EOS at 125 ER can give 31% bonus burst dmg compared to the flat 20% of a 2 pc Noblesse
Not recommended, her ult only fires during normal attacks while Ganyu relies on charged shots. She pairs better with normal attackers like Ayato, Ayaka, Yoimiya, etc
How she works with Ganju as sub DPS?
Fully built her with 9/9/10 on talents, 2pc HOD 2pc EOSF. Charged shot does about 16k, elemental skill 26k, ult arrows 6k per arrow with 3 arrows each trigger. Hp at 34k, ER 140%, CR 78%, CD 179%, used hydro DAM goblet, Hp sands, CD hat, Skyward Harp. Didn't want to use 4pc EOSF since she really needs HP from sands instead of ER for skills damage, and 15% hydro is better than 20% Hp from TOTM imo. Super fun to use. TL;DR really strong, gameplay is fun and engaging. Worth. Hope this helps
