...because again, the more she has that burst up, the more the damage buff the active character gets can be utilized, which outweighs NO's burst-only damage. Consider all of this with what substats your artifacts have; Yelan needs CR, CD, HP, and ER. HP sands is an absolute must imo since her skills scale off of it exclusively, while hydro goblet is best imo since the HP gob doesn't scale as well, and the ER goblet won't give you as much damage, even with EOSF 4pc That's my TedTalk
To add to this, artifact-wise it's a bit more involved. I would say EOSF 4pc would be optimal if you're using her as sub-dps/burst machine, but you would need to consider your substats as well. 2pc HOD/2pc EOSF is also versatile. TOTM isn't recommended, 20% hp seems like a lot, but remember it scales off of base HP, not total HP. I recommend against Noblesse Oblige because HOD bonus affects all her skills and not just burst. Meanwhile the recharge from EOSF is stronger than NO's bonus
Don't forget that when Yelan's burst is active she buffs the damage of the current character on the field as well, so its her burst damage + damage bonuses for whoever is attacking. That being said, Xingqiu is still a fantastic character, and rather than thinking of one vs the other, you can just get both since Spiral needs two teams anyways. Also for Yelan's weapon, the event weapon Fading Twilight is actually really good.
With Zhongli shields you don't need a healer if you stack tons of hp on him. Only exception is if you are against enemies like wolves that apply corrosion which bypasses shields.
Damage wise yes. When both are built up optimally Yelan provides more damage than XQ does and since you have Zhongli shields you don't need XQ's DR or KD resistance at all. The healing is also so minor from XQ its basically a non factor and you got bennett if you do need any healing anyway. Hydro application from Yelan is only a semi problem for Hu Tao vaporize who you aren't using. So all signs point to Yelan as superior though XQ is still a top tier character regardless as well.
So you're saying that I would benefit more if I had yelan instead of xingqiu right?
So you're saying that I should trade bennet for yelan? But with only xingqiu as a healer would the team work well? I swear, now I'm even more confused with so many comments!!! But please, keep helping. My english is not the best, if someone could simplify I would apreciate it
You can group small melee enemies on outer edge of abyss when using overload (just not ranged ones without anemo). With Raiden national though because the comp tends to kill them so fast anyway when built up its ends up being less efficient in nearly every scenario.
Guys I have mouun's moon bow, I have rust rank 3, sacrifice bow rank 2 and Favonious r3. Which one should I give her?? I'm planning on setting her as main dps with Miko as sub-dps
You should mention the turn control talent in the reccomended team part!
Yeah but how the hell you keep stand still in circle especially in the abbys or using mele dps. Have you try raiden bennet xiangling overload that send enemy to floor 13
Go for yelan shes definitely new meta (new kazuha) for sumeru patch and with new hp scaling.all cn player recomend her. I use hutao yelan xinqui zhongli i clear faster when i try them in the abbys. So you can still go for your current team and replace bennet with yelan. Its very easy to play because her burst follow you with mele dps instead using bennet
Can I go for 2 piece TotM and 2 piece EoSF for yelan
Yelan if you want higher damage. XQ if you want better hydro application and DR + knockdown resistance. Don't really need DR or KD resistance with zhongli though since hes providing shields.
Nvm. I am tired and my brain is not working probably atm :(. Forgot it only work if Xingqui is in the field. My bad.
Never said it did snapshot at all... It still increases damage if you stand it attacking.
XQ's burst DOES NOT snapshot with Bennett ulti, unlike say Xiangling burst.
She's a weaker main dps compared to DEDICATED dps characters but that shouldn't stop you if you wanted to since Barbed charged attacks deal a lot of DMG.
She needs 50k HP, 300ER, 4 pieces of EoSF , no hydro dmg bonus, different element party to rise HP best with YunJin and some normal atack DMG :D and she should have new tier criteria - SSS :)
Just adding to avoid any confusion on previous comment. Yelan still does higher off damage overall when both are setup well but a lot is negated when bennett's atk boost is on XQ (even more so if you manage to get C6 on XQ later). For a 5* cost and gearing a new character is it really worth it in that scenario alone? Personally I don't think so but not everyone will see the same way.
