Note: Theater Mechanicus stages have more than one pattern! In each stage run, you can encounter: • Different Enemies and Bosses • Different Wondrous Stick Bans • Different Wondrous Stick Draws We have tested the Mechanicus setups in our guides, but because of the random Wondrous Stick draws the results for your run might be different. |
We'll have walkthroughs for all Stage 10 patterns soon! To go to a pattern walkthrough, click on the number on the left side of the table.

Best Mechanicus Placements |
---|
Waves 1 - 5 (No Changes) |
Icon | Mechanicus and Effect |
---|---|
Glacial Bloom | Does Cryo DMG, and even slows enemies down at a certain level. Freezes enemies temporarily when paired with a Hydro Tower or character. |
Arcanum | Buffs nearby Mechanici and increases their ATK. |
Banishment | When an opponent approaches it, this Mechanicus will knock all opponents within its AoE away from itself. Once its effects have been triggered, it will go on cooldown. |
Type | Wondrous Stick Effect |
---|---|
Fortune |
Glacial Bloom Upgrades Arcanum Upgrades Banishment Upgrades
|
We recommend piling upgrades on Cryo, Arcanum and Banishment for all 5 waves in this stage. Get the expensive ones, because those will defeat all the enemies easily!
List of Recommended Characters | |||
---|---|---|---|
Wanderer | Lynette | Heizou | Traveler (Anemo) |
Jean | Venti | Sucrose | Xiao |
Sayu | Faruzan | Kazuha | Ayato |
Candace | Kokomi | Barbara | Mona |
Xingqiu | Traveler (Hydro) | Nilou | Yelan |
Tartaglia |
You won't need to use characters with the setup above, but having back up Anemo characters for crowd control will help! Hydro characters are also good for Freezing enemies and slowing them down.
Here's a video walkthrough of Game8 Japan's run with 0 escapes, and only 10 Mechanici.
Like with other two-portal stages, you should place Mechanici where the enemies meet. This means you'll have stronger defenses in one area!

Anon 5 is right with the hydro. Make sure to bring pyro characters to break the shields of the right lane.
