Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns

The highlight of Lantern Rite is the release of the giant Mingxiao Lantern into the sky, and this year's Mingxiao Lantern is supposed to be a sight well worth the wait. The Plaustrite that will lift the lantern into the air is the largest in twenty years! For this special occasion, the merchants of Liyue have set up the Xiao Market to help gather the materials needed to build the lantern. When you arrive at the Xiao Market, one of the event organizers, Wang'ya, seems to have something to say to you.

Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns Objectives

  • Talk to Wang'ya
  • Obtain Azurite from Bloatty Floatties and obtain Vermillionite from the Ruin Hunter
  • Report back to Wang'ya
  • Go to the construction site and collect the materials
  • Talk to the suspicious person
  • Investigate around the stockpile (x3)
  • Retrieve the Xiao Lantern materials
  • Talk to Wang'ya
  • Go to the Ministry of Civil Affairs and report to the Millelith
  • Find the Millelith
  • Clear the obstacles
  • Go back to the crime scene
  • Talk to Xiao
  • Talk to Kaeya
  • Talk to the Informant
  • Find the Treasure Hoarder's Camp and talk to the member of the Treasure Hoarders
  • Defeat the Treasure Hoarders
  • Meet the sender at the meeting spot
  • Defeate the suspicious person
  • Report back to Jiayi

Dig at the roots of a Bloatty Floatty to obtain an Azurite.

Defeat the Ruin Hunter to obtain Vermillionite then go back to Wang'ya.
