The cliff knocks said in the dialogue make absolutely no sense when actually trying to unlock the cliff... none of the options are any bit identical to the "password" we were given. This puzzle is genuine BS.

I... I did badly on purpose. I went slow enough that I literally hit the finish line as the timer hit zero and I hit two of the point reducing purple floaters... And I still got SS rank. He cheered me for beating his record. Maybe this guy wasn't just being a defeatist after all...
