Why does it sound like the people who are down playing Neuvillette didn't actually have him at c6 are just hating on him cus he's the hottest shit? All this arguments sounds so weak. We've already seen him being on par with Yelan at c6 ST but people are still so blind.

i didnt mention the others who beat him cuz they used broken reaction like melt or vape to speedrun. scara however was just using classic hypercarry raw anemo dmg but faster than hyper neuvillette who have c4 yelan as hp buffer and dmg bonus from her passive.
I did but that’s not what my comment is talking about, you said down playing because of resistance is a bad argument so I replied that it’s not cause when judging a character you have to judge both with same scenarios.
I speak from personal experience as well and his single target dmg is very high, if you’d watch showcases then he is on par with yelan at c6 with a 1-2 second difference in single target. His aoe is just more cracked but that doesn’t mean his single target is bad.
yep true but did you guys actually watch the vid? scara and some other dps actually did beat him when fighting against that new crab robot.
she doesn’t exactly introduce a new one, she just buffs it. It’s the same with furina though I do agree that nahida is an overall better unit.
yes they are evaluating him in aoe situation while including the spinning. that spin however is useless against boss. i like his character and i do have him and ive been speaking from personal experience.
yeah, I agree that she’s a good unit, I even play her myself but she’s not entirely broken or meta like others are claiming and her in the poll lead has some bais.
but it’s true, you can’t judge a character based on the dmg they do to something that resists more than half their element and not do it to the other.

and yet people, teir lists and all content creators say otherwise. If you don’t like him or his playstyle than that’s you but his numbers are very big especially at c6 and he is arguably the best dps we have. That’s not to say others are bad though.

When will people understand that going against enemies with high elemental resistance of their DPS makes for a very childish argument to downplay a certain character.
Well Furina's placement in the meta, to me, just fits perfectly. She is strong, flexible, has many function as a character but isn't so brutal as to powercreep other characters. - She can apply Hydro off-field with impressive scaling but her Hydro app isn't as rapid as XQ or Yelan - She gives huge dmg buff but you need to provide strong teamwide healer - She can heal but her heal is just a single active character heal with no added properties (no particles or hydro app)
