Thats a fair point, but my personal ranking of the elements was more from a ideal of how easy each is to field and accive 36* in Abyss, with low investment and idealy as a FTP. I don't have an account built for speedruning, so admittedly you're ranking the elements from that perspective will likely be different and perhaps more accurate. Then again, I don't believe elemental types are as important in selecting units for speedruning, as much as a kit that prioritizes front-loaded DPS.
*sighs* eat well so we can engage in debate again later
*sighs I thought you were better than those others since you were quite respectful Ok, time to get dinner, peace
bruh you dont even read the entire debate, barged in then what? just scroll till you find it
which comment was this one?
is this guy nobody to you now?
Yeah sure no doubt about that, now with pyro archon we'll (hopefully) get a stronger pyro application to finally bench XL and enjoy melt at its full potential
nobody said dendro is the strongest team, just saying that it is cheap and high quality. It's like having a weapon you can use in any scenario and performes good without having to spend much. Of course there are other better teams, but for f2p or beginners or those who have shit luck on artifacts / 50-50s, dendro is a blessing XD
just saying how good melt is for speedrun
i know. but we are talking about stronger teams. and dendro just doesnt fit that. sure theyre cheap altho that point is now losing value because we just got another strong free pyro who has no problem to vape/melt
Good for him, that doesn't matter much in this conversation XD
most players can't even 36* the abyss, and keep on pulling new characters to achieve it, but since hyperbloom is so cheap and f2p, it means you can just fully invest on the other team instead of giving resources on a premium second team, so it's great to have. Not saynig they are must build comp, perfect team ecc... just that for most players, it's much comfort building it and its quality doesn't come from premium 5*
rizzley melt at 1st place btw
... you know speedrunning isn't the ultimate goal right? It's like you do it as a personal achievement, but like to 80% of players just ending abyss is good enough, if you can do that with a f2p hyperbloom team is a great win. Sure you can just pull stronger characters to finish it in 10s but then you are playing to get high scores for personal satisfaction, me personally just getting 36* is good
not enough for speedrunning. see any abyss speedrun leaderboard and you see no dendro in top 10. while there are many variations of vape/melt. the one from tgh only has one dendro team in top 100, whale cyno aggravate team...
Even the dendro chicken who has 80% dendro res die easily against hyperbloom (and other reactions, like Nilou big pp bombs), since it has like 800k hp, and dendro cores deal let's say 10k, its 50k every 3s (again, it's probably more, but just as an example), then it's 800k/50k * 3 = 48s, that's not bad. Sure other team can probably finish earlier, but killing lvl 100 chicken with 80% dendro res in less the a minute is actually great
My hyperbloom team does 40k per core, given that you can have 5 core at a time, let's say they refresh every 3 seconds but you can probably spam more, it's 5*40k = 200k every 3 seconds, more or less 70k dmg per second. Let's say an average boss phase has 1M hp (just saying, don't take it seriously), that means you need only 1M/70k = 14s to kill it (end that phase). Idk, sounds pretty good to me
even for today dendro loses to normal pyros and cryos units for speedrunning.
Ok, but instead of imagining what a character might arrive and deliver 6-16 months from now, I'd rather slay with what’s on todays tier list. 😘
*high floor, but low ceiling my bad
