we get more and stronger pyro and cryo dpses. dendro just have hyperbloom because kuki is a cheap 4* who just needs triple em.
even now many vape, and melt, even lyney nuke already surpassed c2 nahida teams when speedrunning. imagine when
this exact same ppl would lick, overglorify cryo while posting cringe AI arts of tsaritsa anyways when the she is here. dendro has low dmg floor, the ceiling is c2 nahida. i doubt dendro is getting new 'peak'. meanwhile i can see natlan drops some new metabreaking pyros. while snezhnaya drops metabreaking cryo that surpassed dendro's 'peak'.
Well again, its been interesting to see the conversation today. I saw your list earlier and it did make a lot of sense. So I do encourage, any points for or against my list. 😉
#ripenglish
Also dendro 2nd is good, idhk how I would arrange pyro electro and anemo but well, your is fair
I don't know how to feel having pyro this low but I guess it is carried by those 4/5 decent units, anemo tho I feel like kazuha is the only really good unit, since anemo dps isn't as powerful as other elements dps and it's more for support. I would put anemo lower and pyro higher but actually I wouldn't know how to manage that, also your points are all good XD. Idk, but sure Hydro 1st, geo and cryo lowest are no-brainers
1St Hydro. Was the any doubt? When your element has the best characters for nearly every role in the game, the single best unit in the game, delivers the best elemental application in the game, delivers the best reactions with every other element in the game, can now run a MonoElement team and synergizes with the game's latest HP Meta. Congratulations, You have Hydro.
2nd Dendro. While some may argue that in a few years Dendro might fall off, it’s certainly not happing today. Indeed, if today you want a top tier team offering some of the highest and fastest DPS reaction’s in Genshin, Dendro is likely how you get there. It undoubtedly favours some elements over others, and if it wasn’t for Nahida it wouldn’t be second place on my list. But I have high hopes for it and its future characters ahead.
3rd Anemo. Lately commenters seem quite dismissive of Anemo, Yes, outside it’s fanatic Support units Anemo characters are very mediocre, and despite the huge amount of investment Hoyo seems intent on releasing to make MonoAnemo a thing. It still works considerably better when doing its job Swirling other elements. So, if you're not running Bennet, multiple Hydro or Dendro on a team, odds are on Anemo fitting the bill.
4th, Electro. So Pyro’s loss has largely been Electro’s gain. Tho its character’s have needed time to develop and find there best teams, its ease of elemental application and affinity with Dendro and Hydro has offered it a clear role in Sub DPS turrets, and battery Supports. Unfortunately this secondary role in teams means its main DPS units are never going to be as good as others, but it has constantly found ways to be useful in the last few Meta's.
5th, Pyro. I’m sure that’s going to make some of you wince. But, Bennet/Xiangling/HuTao these 3 have been victims of there own success, as a metric they led to the 3 categories this tier list uses, and Hoyo has gone to great lengths to avoid empowering them any further. This led to a noticeable nerf on all Pyro units (badly effecting Cryo) until version 4.0. With Lenny, Chevreuse and Gaming launching as well-balanced and fun, Pyro’s situation is quickly improving as likely will its rank.
6th, Cryo. It’s strange, Hoyo keeps releasing very good DPS units and a bunch of effective supports. Then undermines all of this in Abyss, constantly releasing Freeze resistant bosses with tanky healthbars, that undermines its slow/steady approach. Melt should then be the way to go, except Hoyo seem terrified of creating a team that can deliver this easily and consistently. It lacks direct reactions to Dendo (Tho Fridge is fun) and its other reactions are centred on Physical team’s... oh dear.
Interesting points raised, it leaves me wanting to give elemental rankings in more detail. 7th, Geo. Zhongli and Noelle do a great job showing the defence at its best. But the lack of elemental reactions always left it in last place. MonoGeo was meant to improve things, but it fell off throughout version 3.0, compounding this was a lack of new Characters for a full year. Navia's release has been welcome, both for how fun she is, and how it suggests a new approach for Geo by Hoyo going ahead.
yea freeze is so meh. thats why the current freeze dps, ayaka needs cryo dedicated buffer so she could actually do dmg like hypercarry while still freezing
you said that while knowing full well the only top nahida teams are hyperbloom and quickspread.
real i wanna bench xl so hard
We need pyro archon to be a absolutely broken pyro applicator to revive cryo, rn we can just use freeze but honestly it's kinda meh.
you're right, but if one has nahida then any reaction can be used, burgeon is not the best reaction but can do pretty big dmg, only downside is that your characters get hit as well so you need a good healer, but honestly hyperbloom can be used in almost any situation so that's good enough.
dendro can cause every reaction but only two are good at f2p. hyperbloom and qucikspread. bloom needs a limited 5* specialist to do good in aoe. burgeon and eveything else is just not worth the investment.
