Lol, what DPS? A new accounts always gona be at world level 3-6 for a few months. At that stage, we're still talking about damage in the hundreds and a bunch of starter 4 stars are still completely viable to get you to floor 9. At AR50 you can probably put some effort into approaching floor 12 abyss, but before that the is a gazillion things to do that are more fun, and yield much better rewards and only need to be attempted once when you don't take any damage. 😘
neuv c1 instead of zhongli and deal more damage with ororon + scroll to replace the zhongli. So tldr zhongli is a waste of pull
lol pulling for a shielder and a dps loss at that is such a terrible idea. When ur a new player u look for damage to clear abyss, like getting a strong dps and their ideal supports. Like if a new player pulled zhongli, good luck getting the damage to clear ur first abyss. And lets say a new player pulled neuv last patch, that player is way better of getting
Also why is it Zhongli's always catching strays whenever a new shielder arives? Yes Citlali 'could' now be BIS for Pyro/Hydro teams but you 'could' just keep useing him in your teams knowing exactly how he works with 100% shields and his 20% def shred. He came out 1.1, everyones got him. So if someone did need to get him last banner then its likely they have a new account that he would un-ironically be far more useful to a beginner carry, than a later game top tier like Neuvilette.
The only meta team where zhongli was relevant was arle, neuv, lyney teams, and now citlali completely replaces zhongli. I feel sorry for the idiots who got zhongli on his 5.2 rerun
also arle's highest ceiling team now includes citlali so...
a fully built citlali can have around 12kish shield which is more than enough. Her cryo app and buffs more than make up for it, I would rather have more offensive buffs than zhongli who's a dps loss. Even petra has shit uptime
none cares about shield anymore, i one rotate anything with my mav so her shield never breaks, and in arle teams i heard citlali with arle is the new best arle team, even better than zhongli like come on, let the fraud geo archon rest, yes cuz xilonen is the true geo archon

she is also better than zhongli in arle teams and neuv teams, lyney, basically any pyro dps that wants zhongli before. So yeah zhongli is now trash can.
Lol you're basically admitting it's been so long since you played Cryo you forgot how melt works. Cryo>>Pyro is better than Pyro>>Cryo, and Citlali's kit is built to cater to this and Hydro and Pyro DPS'. Fortunely for her all the SS Main units are Hydro and Pyro. Is Xilonen better, Yes definitely. Should you get Citlali if you don't have Mavuika? Probably not. She does seem much more future proofed than if she actually tried to buff Cryo. Still, it's gona take time to see if she's S.
Layla provides no buffs in her kit whatsoever yeah she sucks
still a better unit than zhongli hahahaha. Name me one team where zhongli is actually a DPS increase? Oh right he is always a DPS loss. Shit buffs, useless burst.
Correction- Citlali- Shit shield with lower scaling and uptime than even Layla’s simpler shield, relies on an overrated cheap useless weapon that actually lowers her damage potential with low base atk and hp instead of EM just to buff dmg instead of providing it in her kit, Slow, Inconsistent and Weak Cryo application, a measly 20% res shred on two elements that don’t even react in a melt team, relies on artifact set to justify her lackluster almost nonexistent melt buffs.
Citlali is the worst character I’ve seen in a long time. 20% res shred on hydro/pyro while Xilonen shred 40% on all elements. She doesn’t buff melt, doesn’t do anything beside that. Her shield is paper thin scale off EM the worst scaling stat. Even Layla has better shield, uptime and cryo application. Her burst dmg is laughable considering her low base atk, her 2nd passive doesn’t help much. Cope harder.
