why heal when you can prevent the damage being done in the first place with shields and DMG reduction sources? I strongly prefer using defensive options rather than healers, like xingqiu and zhongli.
I generally take anywhere from 20-120 wishes to get a specific four star. because there's no safety net at all, there is no limit as to how long it can take just to get a specific four star. I've seen some guys do 170 and still get no fischl.
at pity 1-8, there is a 5.1% chance. at pity 9, its about 40%, until at pity 10, it is guaranteed. using the expected value formula, 7.7 wishes is the expected number of wishes needed to get a four star. with a 50% chance that the four star is one of the rate ups, and a 1/3 chance that the four star is the desired one. this makes it 7.7*2*3, which is 46.2 wishes. however, this is not considering the fact that pulling a five star resets the pity, so the number is more like ~50 wishes.
if im going for one certain four star in a banner(iansan in this case), whats the expected amount of wishes needed to get him?
im so excited about these four stars on 5.7 phase two, i might actually spend all my 189 wishes on the four stars and not give a fuck about mavuika
Deepwood in a dendro team, Tenacity anywhere else
Omg C6 Diona is so good I want her for Lyney and Arle lol
I actually had this dilemma, do I give Yaoyao Deepwood or Tenacity? I decided that since I use Nahida in every dendro team and she can proc Deepwood on all enemies nearby, I should have Deepwood on her, and have Yaoyao on Tenacity instead as she only needs to hit one enemy at a time to proc it. Another reason she's on Tenacity is that I'm insane so I use her with Lyney XD Her older build is 2-pc healing 2-pc healing which I used to scare Kokomi mains with :D
Baizhu's Skill also heals with a CD at 10s, so you don't have to use his ult every rotation and can use a full team rotation at well under 20 seconds. Also I'd generally recommend Deepwood on both. To be fair, your point on use cases is the most relevant. If your more comfortable with Yaoyao or have better results with her, then Yaoyao it is. Afterall I'm dusting off C6 Diona this week to play with my new Skirk, would I have preferred Escoffier? Yes, but for now we make do.
Wait a moment... "she needs longer team rotations" Baizhu and Yaoyao have the exact same cooldown (20s) on their ults lol. Yaoyao's skill having a 15s cd means you just use her ult, run around for 5s, then drop her skill and swap off. By when the bunny disappears, her ult is ready again. Also, Baizhu can't use Tenacity. And before you mention TToDS, there is the Sumeru craftable polearm which creates a leaf buffing ATK%.
omg Fr 🤩
Yaoyao spending 5 seconds on field is still much less than Kokomi's field time requirement at least XD I have Baizhu but he's benched, Yaoyao is just better for my use cases. Yes, Xilonen is amazing. But if we judge based on overall utility, I'd say the best is still Bennett (somebody free me from the circle plz). Neuvi can't use him, yes, well Arlecchino and Mavuika do (plz free me from that dude i beg u)
Finally this comment section is returning to being sane thank you everyone........
Yaoyao also needs far more on-field time than Baizhu, she needs longer team rotations and her tick healing is also slower at enabling Furina. Come on, I shouldn't need to explain this. Also after a certain threshold you will get sharply diminishing returns on how much surplus healing can bring to a team, which is another reason why I consider the games current best healer to be Xilonen, given her balance of healing < support ablitys. It's not even close.
Someone already wrote it. But yeah no, Skirk has some restrictions when it comes to team building but she’s much better than these two even without high investment. I mean, she’s one of if not the best DPS, and the only character she actually wants to have is Escoffier, signature is great for her but not necessary. And I’m Ayaka’s main, but she’s nowhere close to Skirk’s power unfortunately. At this point pretty much all pre-Fontaine/pre-Natlan DPS characters are not worth it
Yaoyao heals more than Baizhu!
'Ruined' Have they Tho? we now have 101 characters in the game and most of them are still in the top half of the tier list. So while powercreep is happing, most of the cast is still viable. What's more, while 4 characters went down in rank, 5 went up in rank this month, thats a sign of health. Escoffier definitely had an oversized impact on that, but her value wasn't just on Skirk, but also too Ayaka/Wriothesley. characters the community's wanted to see buffed. So now they have been.
Wrio and ayaka are not even remotely as strong as she is, pulling for them instead of skirk is kinda copium lol. Getting esco and skirk is 10 times more worth it than ayaka or wrio
In 1.0 we had Fischl: Elemental skill: summon bird. Elemental burst: summon bird In 4.0 we had neuvi: Elemental skill: 3 ball. Elemental burst: 6 ball. Spend three balls to unleash power washer. in 5.0 we had mavuika: we fucking threw energy out of the window with shitty "fighting spirit" that needed other natlan teammates to consume "nightsoul points". She rides a motorcycle with 20 different functions and i dont even have enough chars to write the rest.
