| • After the active character triggers a Swirl reaction, all party members gain a 75% bonus to the corresponding Elemental DMG for 6s based on the Elemental Types involved in the reaction. • When triggering a Swirl reaction on opponents, some additional Aegis will be gained. This effect can be triggered once every 6s. |

| Best Teams | Rainbow Chasca: |
Take advantage of the Theatrical Effects by triggering Swirl effects to enhance your team’s damage and accumulate more Aegis on the stage.
Fortunately, Varka and Durin are available as trial characters for this stage. Use Durin's White state by pressing his Elemental Skill twice before using his Elemental Burst. Switch to Varka with his Elemental Skill and do his standard rotation to trigger Swirl.
If available, they're best paired with Venti or Sucrose
Once you have defeated enough enemies, the stage's Shadow of the Lionfang will be upgraded to Sharp Sword Pressure, allowing your slashes to penetrate and do collateral damage. Use this to defeat multiple Ruin Guards in one slash.
| Trial Character | |
|---|---|
Varka
|
Durin
|
The trial characters will always be at level 90 and have the same stats regardless of the stage difficulty.
Durin is among the top buffers accessible for Varka. He is a Hexerei member, which satisfies one of Varka’s team caveats, and he shreds RES massively with his White form, making them a viable duo for this stage.
| Assault From the Heights Above | |
|---|---|
| Theatrical Effects | |
| • After the active character uses an Elemental Skill, their Plunging Attack DMG is increased by 90% for 6s. • When Plunging Attacks deal damage to opponents, some additional Aegis will be gained. This effect can be triggered once every 6s. |
|
| Objectives | • Get a battle rating of at least 1000 • Get a battle rating of at least 2000 • Get a battle rating of at least 4000 |
| Enemies | |
| Best Teams | Gaming Plunge: |
This stage is dedicated to enhancing Plunge attacks when you use Elemental Skill. Moreover, Plunge attacks will yield more Aegis when they deal damage to opponents.
Take advantage of Varesa and Iansan as they complement each other while benefiting a lot from the stage's effects. Set up Iansan's buff by doing a quick Elemental Skill to Burst, then switch to Varesa for her usual rotation of Elemental Skill to Plunge.
Alternatively, you can use Gaming instead of Varesa.
Once you have defeated enough enemies, the stage's Shadow of the Lionfang will be upgraded to Sharp Sword Pressure, allowing your slashes to create a vacuum that can group the Hilichurls together, aiding you in defeating them easily.
| Trial Character | |
|---|---|
Varesa
|
Iansan
|
The trial characters will always be at level 90 and have the same stats regardless of the stage difficulty.
Iansan is considered the premier plunge support for Varesa for her constant movement during her rotation, easily maintaining her buff uptime.
| Fortress of the North | |
|---|---|
| Theatrical Effects | |
| • After character(s) trigger the Lunar-Crystallize reaction, all party members' DEF is increased by 120% for 6s. • When characters trigger the Lunar-Crystallize reaction on opponents, some additional Aegis will be gained. This effect can be triggered once every 6s. |
|
| Objectives | • Get a battle rating of at least 1000 • Get a battle rating of at least 2000 • Get a battle rating of at least 4000 |
| Enemies | |
| Best Teams | Zibai F2P: |
Triggering Lunar-Crystallize in this stage will yield more Aegis for you to perform Sharp Sword Pressure.
Zibai and Illuga are available as trial characters, and as a duo, they can perform Lunar-Crystallize when paired with Hydro characters. Set up Illuga's buff by performing his Elemental Skill and then Elemental Burst, before switching to Zibai to use her Elemental Skill.
Ideally, the Hydro slot should be Columbina to maximize the damage. However, any hydro characters, like Xingqiu or Aino, are sufficient enough to do the job.
Once you have defeated enough enemies, the stage’s Shadow of the Lionfang will be upgraded to Shattering Sword Pressure, allowing you to explode upon impact, aiding you in defeating the Wayobs easily.
| Trial Character | |
|---|---|
Zibai
|
Illuga
|
The trial characters will always be at level 90 and have the same stats regardless of the stage difficulty.
Illuga is the premier Lunar-Crystallize support that Zibai can make use of with her Lunar-Crystallize, further increasing her damage.
| A Place Where Snow Formed Ranks | |
|---|---|
| Theatrical Effects | |
| • After character(s) trigger the Frozen reaction, all party members' CRIT DMG is increased by 100% for 6s. • When characters trigger the Frozen reaction on opponents, some additional Aegis will be gained. This effect can be triggered once every 6s. |
|
| Objectives | • Get a battle rating of at least 1000 • Get a battle rating of at least 2000 • Get a battle rating of at least 4000 |
| Enemies | |
| Best Teams | Skirk F2P: |
Triggering Frozen will yield more Aegis for you and grant you a Crit DMG buff.
Skirk and Xingqiu are trial characters for this stage. Use Xingqiu's Elemental Skill and Burst before switching to Skirk's Elemental Skill. Do not forget to also use Skirk's Elemental Burst during her Elemental Skill to absorb the rifts, enhancing your damage further.
Do note that when it comes to Skirk's team building, you must only have Hydro and Cryo characters to make use of her full potential. If possible, Furina and Escoffier are ideal for this spots. However, characters like Candace and Layla should be enough for the stage.
Once you have defeated enough enemies, the stage's Shadow of the Lionfang will be upgraded to Sharp Sword Pressure, allowing your slashes to penetrate and do collateral damage.
| Trial Character | |
|---|---|
Skirk
|
Xingqiu
|
The trial characters will always be at level 90 and have the same stats regardless of the stage difficulty.
Xingqiu is incredible at applying Hydro onto enemies, which Skirk can make use of to trigger Frozen onto enemies.
| Fine Warrior's Charge | |
|---|---|
| Theatrical Effects | |
| • After the active character consumes Nightsoul points, ATK and CRIT DMG are increased by 50% for 6s. • When characters deal Nightsoul-aligned DMG to opponents, some additional Aegis will be gained. This effect can be triggered every 6s. |
|
| Objectives | • Get a battle rating of at least 1000 • Get a battle rating of at least 2000 • Get a battle rating of at least 4000 |
| Enemies | |
| Best Teams | Chasca F2P: |
This stage prefers Natlan characters to go against the Mimiflora who requires Nightsoul-Aligned DMG to deal with effectively, with Chasca and Ororon being free to use. It is ideal that you one or more Pyro, Cryo, Electro, or Hydro characters that can synergize well off-field with Chasca.
When using the trial characters, use Ororon's Elemental Skill to his Elemental Burst, then take the stage with Chasca by simply holding her Charged Attack during her Elemental Skill state to charge up all six bullets and automatically fire them.
Once you have defeated enough enemies, the stage's Shadow of the Lionfang will be upgraded to Vortex Sword Pressure, which groups up all the Mitachurls in one spot.
| Trial Character | |
|---|---|
Chasca
|
Ororon
|
The trial characters will always be at level 90 and have the same stats regardless of the stage difficulty.
Ororon applies Nightsoul DMG off-field, while Chasca is a very flexible unit who can use any of your PHEC teammate's elements on demand.
| Prism of Moonlight and Lightning | |
|---|---|
| Theatrical Effects | |
| • After characters trigger the Lunar-Charged reaction, all party members' Elemental Mastery is increased by 300 for 6s. • When characters trigger the Lunar-Charged reaction on opponents, some additional aegis will be gained. This effect can be triggered once every 6s. |
|
| Objectives | • Get a battle rating of at least 1000 • Get a battle rating of at least 2000 • Get a battle rating of at least 4000 |
| Enemies | |
| Best Teams | Flins F2P: |
This stage is all about triggering Lunar-Charged only, with Wild Hunt enemies necessitating you to bring Nod-Krai characters. As Flins is a trial character, pairing him with a Lunar Hydro applicator like Aino and Columbina already makes up the team. His premium team also has Ineffa and Sucrose to buff the team up, but if you don't have his premium team, you can use Fischl and Jahoda as F2P choices.
When using the trial characters, set up Aino's Elemental Skill to Burst to apply Hydro off-field, then switch to Flins. Flins rotations is as follows:
| Standard Rotation | Activate Elemental Skill→ Press Elemental Skill again → Special Elemental Burst → Normal Attacks → Elemental Skill → Special Elemental Burst → Swap |
|---|
Once you have defeated enough enemies, the stage's Shadow of the Lionfang will be upgraded to Shattering Sword Pressure, which you should shoot at the center of the group of mobs to explode all mechs.
| Trial Character | |
|---|---|
Flins
|
Aino
|
The trial characters will always be at level 90 and have the same stats regardless of the stage difficulty.
Flins and Aino satisfy the conditions of activating Lunar-Charged by themselves.
Enemies will constantly spawn per wave and defeating such enemies will help accumulate Aegis that is indicated at the center top of your screen.
In each stage, there are specific conditions that can help you accumulate Aegis faster.
During combat, once you have accumulated enough Aegis, you can summon the Shadow of the Lionfang Knight.
When you summon the Shadow of the Lionfang Knight, you will go into first person view to shoot out light slashes. In this mode, you will be able to detect enemies' weak points and will have different effects depending on the stage.
To unlock Lionfang's Radiant Onslaught, players must complete the Homeward, He Who Caught the Wind event quest. Once completed, Lionfang's Radiant Onslaught will be made available immediately.
