Tholindis Story and Lore
Fiancée of Rerir
Tholindis is the fiancée of Rerir, one of the Sinners bearing the title of the Racher of Solnari. Tholindis and Rerir live together in one roof, and have presumably been together for a long time. During the A Nation That Doesn't Exist Archon Quest, it was shown that Rerir had recently proposed to Tholindis, to which Tholindis had to take time responding.

Recently Learned of Rerir's Work
Being a covert hitman targeting the remaining descendants of the Crimson Moon Dynasty, Rerir had to hide the real nature of his work from Tholindis. But because of a child called Orlog, Tholindis had recently learned of Rerir's actual work, which created a small rift between the lovers.
During the All is Foretold quest, Tholindis had surmised that Rerir was only lying to her when he asked her to run away with him because of the uprising that Dainsleif had started to save his brother. However, because of the rift between them, Tholindis had chosen to sacrifice herself instead by free-falling into the space rift.
Researcher at the Universitas Magistrorum
Tholindis is also a researcher at Universitas Magistrorum, the academic institution in Khaenri'ah, spearheaded by Hroptatyr himself, one of the Five Sinners. Her main research subject is the Moon Marrow, which she concluded to be connected to the power of a god, and that it acts as a spatial gateway that's likely the same portal she jumped into.
The Only Moon Marrow Researcher
The Universitas Magistrorum had allocated most of its time researching Abyssal Energy which caused a huge lack of manpower in other research areas, such as Tholindis' main research subject. This resulted to her being the only one left in the Moon Marrow lab.
Part of the Crimson Moon Dynasty
One of the biggest twist in Rerir and Tholindis' love story is that the former is an executioner of remaining bloodlines of the Crimson Moon Dynasty, and that the later has Crimson Moon Dynasty blood, flowing inside her. This is one of the prime triggers why the Abyss has succeeded convincing Rerir to fall from grace, as this Rerir had been incubating a deep-seated hatred against the Vinster King himself because of it.
