With a 5-member Saurian Warrior team, they can trigger healing on-hit, which allows you to outfit most of the members with Damage equipment near the end of Act 2.
The focus member for this team is the Iktomisaurus Warrior, as the entire team can revolve around his Cryo reactions. He will most often be paired with a Hydro unit to consistently trigger Freeze.

Rasping Desert Act 1 Guide
Reroll for Saurian Warrior Units
At the start of the stage, you want to do your best to activate the Saurian team's 4-member passive.
Roll for the Saurian Warriors naturally as you go through the stages, but start rerolling by the Act I Boss stage if you still lack 4 members.
Level Up One or Two Units to Level 2
Due to the amount of levels in Act I, you should be able to snag a duplicate or two to upgrade some of your units to Level 2.
Prioritize the Iktomisaurus Warrior or the Tepetlisaurus Warrior if you can, but the team will generally benefit from upgraded units regardless.
Have Melee Units In The Front
When setting up your team to take fights, make sure that your Melee units are upfront so they can soak up enemy damage while your ranged units burst them down.
While building up to the 5-member team, you generally want two melee and two ranged units to even out your forces.
Get the 5th Member Secret Treasure
During your journey, try to win fights that grant Secret Treasures and grab the boon that reduces your equipment slots but allows you to have a 5th member.
Take note however that the boon pool is randomized and you might not be able to pull this buff. Instead try to grab any general boon that will give you benefits like the Nameless Gift Sack.
Bring Cryo and Pyro Against the Abyss Lector
When you reach the Act I Abyss Lector boss, set your Melee units above it and your ranged units off to the side.
Lastly, bring the Qucusaurus and Iktomisaurus Warrior in order to quickly burn down its Electro shield during the second phase.
Rasping Desert Act 2 Guide
Level Your Units
For Act 2, your main priority should still be to level most of your units to Level 3.
You will want at least two Level 3 units by the Act II boss fight as that will make it easier for you.
Pair The Iktomisaurus Warrior and Koholasaurus Warrior
Since Elemental Reactions still function in this arena, pairing the Cryo and Hydro units together for Freeze can help crowd control opponents and prevent the need to always have a melee unit take up aggro.
Run Two Groups Against the Act II Boss
When facing the Ruin Grader for Act II, put all your melee units on one side to draw its attention, and your ranged units slightly far off so they can deal damage safely.
If you are running 4 - 5 members of the Saurian Warrior team, they should be able to heal themselves in combat, granting you a smooth victory if you have one or two Level 3 members.

Go For Equipment and Upgrades
At this point in time, you want to ensure that your team has access to 4-star and 5-star Equipment, so focus on acquiring these if you still lack decent equipment for your units.
Equip Your Team Well
Make sure your melee units have Healing equipment and your ranged units have Damage-increasing equipment.
If you have access to element-specific crystals, make sure to give them to the correct unit in order to boost their damage more.
Spread Out All Members Against Act III Boss
When facing Maguu Kenki, place your tank melee unit closest to them so it draws their attention, then separate each unit to a different corner of the map to minimize multi-unit and collateral damage from Maguu Kenki.
Afterwards, your units should be able to clear Maguu Kenki's fight without too much trouble if they are all Level 3 and are uninterrupted in their attacks, as most of them heal on-hit.
