Similar to Shenhe's overworld builds, you should look to have as much ATK and Energy Recharge in your build as possible in order to take advantage of her powerful buffs.
Providing Shenhe with the highest overall ATK as possible will increase the DMG of other trial characters, such as Ayaka and Chongyun.

The Catch

The Calamity Queller and Engulfing Lightning are the best weapons to use For Shenhe's challenge. Calamity Queller will give her the highest possible overall ATK, while Engulfing Lightning will give additional Energy Recharge.
For F2P options, Favonius Lance and The Catch are the best options. These two weapons will give you a good mix of Energy Recharge and high ATK.

The main stats you should be aiming should be focused on ATK%, while having Energy Recharge and flat ATK in the substats. As Shenhe's overall kit scales off on her overall ATK.
Lonesome Transcendence Strategy
Always Use Her Elemental Skill
You should always use Shenhe's hold Elemental Skill before you do any team rotations. This is to activate and ultilize Shenhe's buff into everyone of her teammates.

For the first phase of the Maguu Kenki battle, you need to hold Shenhe's Elemental Skill before you go into Chongyun's Elemental Skill, and into Ayaka's Normal Attacks.
You will need to do this kind of rotation until the Maguu Kenki reaches second phase, where he floats up in the air and plunges his two swords on the ground.

For the second phase, you can go all out by using Shenhe's Elemental Skill, then follow it up with a combination of Chongyun's and Ayaka's combos. However, it is recommended to finish with Ayaka's sprint and normal attacks for consistent Cryo DMG.
Third and Fourth Phase Team Rotations
For the third and fourth phases, they would be just repeats of the first and second phases. You always need to remember to never use Ayaka's combo without Shenhe's Skill, as not to waste any damage and time in defeating Maguu Kenki.
Avoid Getting Hit by Maguu Kenki
One way to know Maguu Kenki's attack patterns is to look out for its arms and the sheathe of his sword. If it moves both of its arms, it will go for a ground slam. If it moves the sheathe, it will perform spinning sword slashes.
