Stage 5's mandatory Stratagem and trial characters nudges the player towards building a Normal Attack-oriented team in order to rack up points quicker.

In particular, Vaporize teams with Normal Attacking Main DPSes will be able to breeze through most of the enemies due to Vaporize's high damage scalings and the trial Mualani being built for Frontloaded damage.

In order to take advantage of the stratagem count, try to make sure that the enemy that you are about to strike will trigger Vaporize and is a CRIT Hit, as that will activate most of the Stratagems on this list.

This guideline is especially true and effective on the trial Mualani, as she can trigger almost all of the Stratagem bonuses if given proper Pyro-application Supports.

Defeat Enemies With Normal Attacks

The main way to acquire points in Stage 5 with the chosen Stratagems in particular is by defeating opponents with Vaporized Normal Attacks while under the effects of Nightsoul's Blessing.

Look to create Vaporize opportunities by applying Pyro to enemies before executing them with Hydro Normal Attacks.
