Stage 1's available stratagems and the fixed Variation Stratagem points players towards using Elemental Skill-heavy teams such as Kinich Burning and Clorinde Aggravate.

Other teams work as well so long as you can meet Stratagem of Variation: Pivotal Crux's requirements.

Burning Team Recommended Stratagems

Kill Enemies With Elemental Skill During Nightsoul's Blessing

When using these stratagems, your main priority is to kill enemies with your Elemental Skill while under the influence of Nightsoul's Blessing as that will reap the most amount of points.

It also incentivizes triggering the Burning reaction, which is already a given since you are running a Burning team here anyway.

Aggravate Team Recommended Stratagems

Kill Enemies With Elemental Skill

When running an Aggravate team, you must defeat enemies with your Elemental Skill while having a single Natlan character present in order to trigger Nightsoul Burst for more points.

If you are able to run a Bloom or Hyperbloom team, then Teeming Abundance will also give you more points here.

Trigger Pivotal Crux As Much As Possible

Pivotal Crux's score multiplier requires you to kill two opponents with your Elemental Skill in order to trigger it. This can easily be triggered by the trial Kinich and Emilie, as well as other units whose main source of damage is their Elemental Skill.

In combat, your Assault and Engagement stratagems help you gain more points whenever you trigger your team's main Elemental Reaction and Nightsoul Burst, so focus on proccing Burning or Aggravate as much as possible.
