Activate the Mechanism to Rotate the Device

Genshin - Beneath the Secret Source - Rotate Devices

Interact with one of the mechanisms found in the chamber to activate it. The device on the wall will rotate continuously, and you must select stop to make it pause. The device will glow gold if you got the correct position!

There will be three mechanisms found in the chamber that can rotate the device parts on the wall. One is at the top of the stairs, another on a higher ledge with a Coilgrass Sigil, and another on a lower ledge to the left guarded by a Secret Source Automaton.

Rotate Long Enough to Make a Hint Appear

If you let the device rotate long enough, an option to show the Hint will appear. This will show you a small photo of what the completed image is supposed to look like!

How to Rotate the Three Devices to Complete the Image

Objectives

Genshin - How to Rotate Device - Defeat the Automaton
Use the Yumkasaur skill to go to the lower left ledge and defeat the Secret Source Automaton to unlock the mechanism.

Activate the mechanism to rotate the outermost device. Stop when the three pointed parts are to the upper left of the circle.

Indwell the Yumkasaur again and head to the highest ledge with the Coilgrass Sigil beside it. This rotates the second outermost device, which you can stop when it lines up with the outermost pattern.

Go back to the ledge you first arrive in, which rotates the last device. Simply activate and stop when the piece lines up and completes the animal head.
