Best Team Against Trial of Thorns

The Trial of Thorns teams are based around Navia and Kachina, as they are given for free to use during the Trial phase, so build around them with these team ideas in mind.

It is worth noting that Navia and Kachina as a duo are also capable of meeting the 10-point requirement for the Trial of Thorns without any other team members.

Break the Praetorian Golem's Geo Shield

All of your enemies in the first stage will be Praetorian Golems whose shields need to be broken with Geo DMG or Blunt damage. Upon breaking, you will receive a point to the tally, and the Golems will stumble and become vulnerable.

Geo DMG can make quick work of the shield, and then Navia or another team member can finish them off without much trouble, allowing you to continue racking up points with the next wave of Golems that spawn.

Most of the buffs given by the Trial of Thorns serve to directly benefit Dendro characters and Dendro-centric teams, so build your teams around the buffs given.

With that, teams like Hyperbloom, Burning, and Bloom are extremely effective here due to the abundance of Dendro damage present in these teams.

Defeat as Many Opponents as Possible

In the Canticle of Crowns, you must defeat as many opponents as possible to rack up the required amount of points to completely pass the challenge, with 5,000 points needed for Gold, and 12,500 points needed for Platinum.

Maintain a Never-Ending Rotation

With the Dendro teams above, one way to ensure that you can rack up points is to keep track of your Elemental Energy on each character, and make sure that the damage rotations have minimal downtime.

One of the waves will feature a large amount of Hydro Slimes which you can use to restart your rotations and gain energy, as they are fodder units for the 2 Ruin Guards that will spawn afterwards.

Focus Down the Dendroshroom Waves

Most of the enemies in this stage will group up on your location as soon as they spawn, with the exception of the Dendro Fungi during the first parts of every enemy rotation.

These enemies will float around and will try to separate themselves from their groups, potentially requiring more time to beat. On that note, unload your damage as fast as possible when they spawn in to minimize possible delays.

All party members gain a 20% Dendro DMG Bonus. All party members have their Elemental Mastery increased by 300. The character gains assistance from "Resonant Glow": When active characters perform Normal Attacks, 1 stack of "Resonant Glow" is accumulated. When you have at least 2 stacks and there are enemies nearby, "Resonant Glow" executes a coordinated attack after the active character uses a Normal Attack, dealing True DMG to enemies, and the count is reset. When Resonant Glow is enhanced: The Coordinated Attack's DMG is enhanced and the Dendro RES of the opponent hit decreases by 50% for 8s.
