To Reclaim an Ancient Name Walkthrough

Pay the Scions of the Canopy a visit

Teleport to the Obsidian Totem Pole of the Scions of the Canopy to reach the quest area much quicker. You'll end up in front of Aclla and a Yumkasaurus named Katari.

Talk to the Chief of the tribe, Wayna.

Follow the quest marker to reach Wayna, Chief of the Scions of the Canopy. He'll tell you to seek help from Vichama, who should also be nearby.

Look for Vichama

Return to the Obsidian Totem Pole and go down the two ramps in front of it. Head left and you'll spot Vichama, a green-haired man looking over the cliffside.

Make preparations to seek the Ancient Name (0/2)

Once Vichama tells you what he needs, head into the area underneath the Obsidian Totem Pole. Follow the quest marker downwards and talk to Amauta. She'll hand you a Purpose-Built Grappling Hook.

Next, speak with Pajaten to get some Ordinary Obsidian. You just need to walk a few steps past Amauta's stand to find him.

Meet up with Vichama

Teleport to the Statue of The Seven nearest to the Scions of the Canopy. Vichama will be waiting for you on a cliff southeast of the statue. You can use the green Spiritsconce nearby to transform into a Yumkasaurus and climb up much quicker!

Collect the Ancient Name fragments

While Vichama is searching for Kachina's Ancient Name, glowing orbs will appear and scatter themselves around the area. Pick them up quickly to fill up the purple meter at the top center of the screen.

A couple of monsters will also appear to disrupt this process. You'll need to defeat them first to collect more fragments! Once the meter is full, a few more scenes will play out, and you'll be brought back to the Scions of the Canopy.
