How to Unlock Natlan! A New Adventure
Complete Chapter 4: Act 6 Archon Quest
You can unlock Chapter 5, Act 1 - Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn by completing Chapter 4, Act 6: Bedtime Story quest.
Quick Start: Complete Chapter 1: Act 3 Archon Quest
To celebrate the release of the new region, travelers can also use the Quick Start function during the duration of Version 5.0 to access the quest at Adventure Rank 28 after completing A New Star Approaches!
Archon Quest - A New Star Approaches
Natlan! A New Adventure Walkthrough
Go to Romaritime Harbor
Head over to Romaritime Harbor, where you meet up with Charlotte, Clorinde, Navia, and Furina before heading to Natlan. After a cute little photo together, you say your goodbyes to Fontaine.
Go to Natlan
After making your way through the desert or just teleporting via Waypoint, the Traveler reaches the border between Sumeru and Natlan.
Go deeper into Natlan
After arriving at Natlan, keep following the path and you be teleported to another location where you will meet a Tepetlisaur which you can give a name to. You will also start the "Lost in the Woods" World Quest here.
Follow Kachina to the Children of Echoes
After getting your new Saurian buddy, keep following the path and you will meet Kachina. After being left by her teammates for the Pilgrimage, she will offer to tour you around the Children of Echoes' settlement.
Continue exploring the Children of Echoes' territory
Kachina will tour you around the place, showing you her tribe's culture and even making friends with her Saurian, Ayo! She will also introduce you to Pacal and Natlan's deep connection with the Wayob.
Go to the Statue of The Seven
From the settlement, head up to the Statue of Seven. Paimon and Kachina will compliment the Archon in terms of her beauty and strength.
Light the Statue of The Seven
After gawking at the Statue of Seven, approach it to find that you cannot resonate with Pyro. Despite the confusion, you decide to accompany Kachina and head to the Stadium for registration.
Go to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame
From the Statue of the Seven illuminating the map, you can now see your next destination, the Stadium of the Sacred Flame! Along the way, Kachina reveals that the Pyro Archon isn't a "god" like the ones we've previously met.
Ignite the Phlogiston Chiselith
After a bit, you, Paimon, and Kachina decide to take a break. You see a Phlogiston Chiselith that you can activate to Kachina's surprise. This attracts the attention of Toto which gives you a ride atop its head.
Continue heading toward the Stadium of the Sacred Flame
Toto will drop you off along the way due to its size and the distance. You and Kachina decide to just walk the rest of the way.
Register for the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame
Meet up with Kinich, Ajaw, and Mualani in front of the stadium. You won't be allowed to join the competition but Mualani decides to leave her team to Kinich to join Kachina instead.
Go to the Weary Inn for a meal
After registration, you and the crew decide to head into the Weary Inn where everyone helps in dispelling any worries Kichina may have about the competition. After eating, you decide to rest up before the big tournament tomorrow.

you know, with all the farewell fuss the fontain girls raised, i was expecting that they'd at least provide me a ship or something to take me on this trip. was not at all prepared to just get a "go to natlan" quest step and a far-away map marker and to have to foot it myself.
