How to Unlock Memories That Should Not Exist
Complete Cold Case Commission
To unlock Memories That Should Not Exist quest, you must have completed the previous subquest of Bedtime Story, Cold Case Commission! Bedtime Story progresses seamlessly unlike most of the previous quests, so make sure to sleep at Vimara Village, to auto-trigger this quest!

Memories That Should Not Exist Walkthrough
Return to Vimara Village
After seeing Dainsleif near the tree that Atossa indicated, return to Vimara Village, and sleep at the village. After waking up, talk to Dainsleif who's located a couple of steps away from your hut.
Go to the place where the Field Tiller's Eye
is hidden
Dainsleif then tells you that he has a memory where he has handed over the eye of the Field Tiller to the missing person in Vimara Village. After concluding that this may be a trap from the Abyss Order, go to the place where the Field Tiller's Eye
is hidden to confirm its safety.
Enter the depths of the ruin
Enter the place where the Field Tiller's Eye with Dainsleif. The domain is aptly called the Place of Revelations, to which we recommend bringing Pyro or Electro units, as there's an Abyss Herald: Frost Fall awaiting within the depths of the ruin!
How to Enter the Depths of the Ruin
| How to Explore the Place of Revelations | |

| 1 |  As soon as you step inside the ruins, walk forward until you see a mob of Shroom-kin enemies located just past the massive doorway. Simply defeat the two waves of enemies to proceed. |
| 2 |  Afterwards, Dainsleif will remark that the switch is located on the upper floor, which you can access through the side door. Having said this, enter the door to your right. |
| 3 | There are Four-Leaf Sigils lined along your way to help you traverse the terrain easily to access the upper floor. Simply use them until you see a corridor with bifurcated stairs. |
| 4 | You can take either stairs, but the one on your left should lead you directly to a switch that opens a door that connects to a huge room with a Ruin Guard inside. |
| 5 | After defeating the Ruin Guard, activate the switch located behind the felled Ruin Guard. This should open a hatch that connects directly to the lower floor. Glide down to reach the mechanism that unlocks the giant door. |
| 6 | To solve the mechanism, and unlock the door, simply rotate the frontmost device, once. Then, rotate the device to its right once, as well. Lastly, rotate the leftmost device once, to solve the mechanism, and unlock the door! |
Defeat the Abyss Herald
Go through the door, and continue forward until you see another doorway that leads directly to a giant chamber with several statues inside. After a brief conversation with Dainsleif, the Abyss Order reveals itself. Defeat the Abyss Herald to progress.
Talk to Dainsleif
After defeating the Herald, talk to Dainsleif about what just happened. He then tells you to return to Vimara Village through the mechanism to your right.
