Go to Wangshu Inn

You can start this quest by heading straight to Liyue's Wangshu Inn, located at the center Bishui Plain! This also starts the Receiver of Friends From Afar Event!

Receiver of Friends From Afar: Part I Walkthrough

Head to Wangshu Inn Bulletin Board

The quest should be available once you met the prerequisites, so head to the bulletin board at the ground level of Wangshu Inn. There seems to be an opening for a temporary chef for the inn.

Talk to Huai'an for More Details

Head over to the main entrance of Wangshu Inn for a cutscene. You will hear that the inn owner Huai'an and the chef, Smiley Yanxiao are discussing over some issues over the inn.

Receive your First Guests

Smiley will go through some of the pointers for this job. After going this, a familiar voice will call out. This person will be your first guest for this cooking job!

Ask for Advice from Smiley Yanxiao

After greeting your guests, head back to the kitchen to ask for advice from Smiley Yanxiao on what to cook for your first guests.

Cook the Suggested Dish

Now you will be introduced to the cooking minigame which you will do most of the time for this event. Time your clicks right to ensure the perfect dish!

How to Cook Palace Jewels

Serve and Enjoy it with Your Guests!

After the minigame, you will ow be able to see the reactions of your guest. After some exchange, the quest should end along with your first day on the job!
