To get the Adeptus's Repose Luxurious Chest, you must first open the locked room at the left side of the Repose. The locked room will open once you've inserted the Ancient Tree Branch into the broken Medicine Jar in the Silently the Butterfly Crosses the Valley quest!

You can get the Ancient Tree Branch by restoring the Ancient Tree of Herblord in the Lingshu Courtyard. The Sacred Simulacra in the Lingshu Courtyard will perform the rite to restore it after you chase the butterflies into the medicine jar!

There's another Luxurious Chest in the Lingshu Courtyard which you must get before teleporting to the Adeptus's Repose!
