How to Unlock Carp's Rest

Complete Chenyu Vale's Main Quest Line

Carp's Rest is unlocked in a side quest after completing Chenyu Vale's main questline: Chenyu's Blessing of Sunken Jade. Once you unlock the west side area, Mt. Liaxin, you should be near the end of that quest!

After completing the whole quest line, there will be one more follow-up quest to complete.

Progress The Cloud-Padded Path to the Chiwang Repose

After completing Fujin's quest, a follow-up quest can be unlocked after adjusting your in-game clock to tomorrow. The Cloud-Padded Path to the Chiwang Repose quest should automatically unlock on your journal upon doing so!

Use the Fujin Ability to the Rainjade

Progressing through this quest will have you finally opening the path to the cave's entrance with your Fujin ability!

How to Get to Carp's Rest

Head Inside the Entrance in Chiwang Terrace on Mt. Laixin

During the quest, you can get to Carp's Rest on top of Chiwang Terrace west of Chenyu Vale. You will need to face the big floating Votive Rainjade and use your Fujin ability to get inside the entrance.

What is Inside Carp's Rest

Rainjade Oblation

Inside the Carp's Rest cave houses the Rainjade Oblation, which is the region's reward system where you can exchange Spirit Carps for various items like Acquaint Fates!

Jade Fragment (Right)

A piece of Jade Fragment can also be found inside Carp's Rest in the middle path of the cave. This item is used to restore the Jade Fragment inside a locked room (openable by the Fragrant Wood keys) in Chizhang Wall.
