Mysterious Xenochromatic Crystal is a Quest Item obtained from Local Legends in Morte Region in Genshin Impact 4.2. See how to get this quest item, how to use it, and all its known info here in this guide!
List of Contents
The Mysterious Xenochromatic Crystal is obtained after defeating the Mageblade Corrouge! This Local Legend can only be found after progressing The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes world quest.
You can get another Mysterious Xenochromatic Crystal by defeating this boss again after the server reset, but you can only hold one of them in your inventory at a time.
How to Defeat Mageblade Corrouge
Another crystal can be obtained after defeating Chassanion under the Sealed Tower, or inside it after the events of In the Wake of Narcissus.
Like Mageblade Corrouge, you can get another Mysterious Xenochromatic Crystal after it respawns, but you can only hold one Crystal at a time.
Go to the Rusty Rudder boat found east of the Foggy Forest Path and talk to the NPC Pitot! He will accept the Mysterious Xenochromatic Crystal for 20,000 Mora!
You can only do it once a day as you cannot get another Crystal if you already obtained one in your inventory!
Upon giving Pitot the crystal three times, you will obtain the A World Yet to be Disenchanted achievement!

FYI to everybody, when you beat the boss, check your quest inventory for the Mysterious Xenochromatic Crystal. I don't remember if the game shows you obtained it on your screen right after beating the boss on the 1st try, but when I beat it the 2nd time, it didn't show. However, when I checked my inventory, it was already in there, so don't assume like me that the boss didn't drop it after killing it.
