The Amrita Mayflies are found in Vourukasha's Oasis where the Sunyata Flowers are located! If the Sunyata Flowers have already been purified, they can appear at night, between 19:01 to 5:59 (in-game time).

You can use the game's time-skip feature for this!

Genshin - Obtain Sorush

Amrita Mayflies will only appear to purified Sunyata Flowers. This can be done after obtaining Sorush in the beginning of the Khvarena of Good and Evil World Quest.

Equip Sorush to help purify the Sunyata Flowers in order to unlock the Amrita Mayflies!

Once the Amrita Mayflies appear, you can start aiming at them with a Bow character to keep them still.

Equip Sorush to pick up an Amrita Mayfly and guide it to the Sunyata Flowers. Note that Sorush can only carry one Amrita Mayfly at a time so patience is key!
