Genshin - Purple Mist Control with Sorush
Purple Mist puzzles are solved by controlling Sorush, your main exploration gadget while you're in the Girdle of the Sands desert. You can get Sorush by progressing the first quest of Khvarena of Good and Evil chain.

Awaken the Thorny Branches

Genshin - Purple Mist Remove the Thorn
Use Sorush to awaken the power of the nearby Thorny Branch, which is a glowing green object dangling on a branch somewhere near the mist. Once you're near it, press Sorush's ability to activate a time-trial challenge!

Corrupted beings in the form of purple blobs will appear. Any kind of attacks and abilities won't work against them, so use the Nirodha Fruits nearby!

Defeat Enemies that Will Spawn

An alternate way of removing Purple Mist is when regular enemies appear instead of the Purple Blobs, like the third Mist that you will disperse in the Asipattravana Itihasa quest. Simply defeat the enemies to complete this!

Collect Nirodha Fruits

Genshin - Purple Mist Collect the Nirodha Fruits

Nirodha Fruits are orange plants that gives you ammunition when used with Sorush. Simply approach the fruit to get the ammo needed to destroy the purple defilements!

Fire the fruits to the defilement

Genshin - Purple Mist - Fire with Sorush
Once you have the Nirodha Fruit ammo, fly to the purple defilements then target them with the Sorush's Nirodha Fruit ability, which replaces your Elemental Burst button!

Removing all required enemies will complete the puzzle, and the Purple Mist will disperse!
