To unlock In the Name of the Resistance, you must have first completed the previous part of Archon Quest Chapter 2, Act 2, Amidst Stormy Judgment.

In the Name of the Resistance Walkthrough

Gather Intel at Tatarasuna

After your encounter with the Raiden Shogun, Thoma will go into hiding at the Komore Teahouse, while you'll be tasked to gather intel at Tatarasuna. Eavesdrop on Ishihara's and Takayama's conversation once you've arrived in Tatarasuna.

Continue Exploring

As per the two soldier's conversation, head over to northwest of Musoujin Gorge and look for the Resistance.

Hurry to the Front Line

As you continue exploring, you'll see Sakamoto and Jiichirou talking about the Nazuchi Beach is where the Shogunate's army and Resistance is battling it out. Go to Nazuchi Beach and hurry to the front line.

Rescue the Surrounded Resistance Soldier

Once at Nazuchi Beach, rescue the surrounded resistance soldier. After defeating the enemies, talk with the members of the Resistance. Teppei will tell you that he's from the Gobius Platoon.

Go and Meet Gorou

After the brief introduction with Teppei, he will tell you to go and meet Gorou, the resistance general. Convince him to accept you in the ranks of the Resistance by telling him about the seizing of the 100th Vision and your recent encounter with the Shogun.

Follow Teppei and Help the Wounded

Follow Teppei and help the wounded in the camp. There you'll meet Tokuda and Masashi. Have a conversation with them and wait until Teppei asks you to get either Wolfhooks or Onikabuto to dress their flesh wounds.

Give Materials that Can be Used as Medicine

Open your inventory and give Teppei either of the two materials. If you choose to give Wolfhooks, he will at first become slightly disappointed but will still apply it on their flesh wounds. If you choose to give Onikabuto instead, he will gladly tell you that he's not sure whether it will work or not.

Follow Teppei and Help the Resistance

Afterwards, follow and give help to the resistance by demonstrating Archery techniques to Shouji and Hisahiko. You'll need to hit all the blue targets within 6 rounds. Bring with you a bow character to go effectively hit all the targets!

Defeat the Shogunate Army Squad

During your archery demonstration, a soldier will tell you the enemy is attacking their camp and that there are plenty of wounded who can't defend. Hurry to the location and defeat the Shogunate Army Squad with Teppei.

Collect Nearby Repair Materials

Once you've pushed back the enemy, Teppei will infer that there's a traitor among your ranks. In the meantime, get the materials for the walls and repair them.

Report the Situation Back to Gorou

After repairing the walls, head back to Gorou's station and report the situation to him. He won't be there, however, but Kaida Ryouma will instead tell you that Gorou is in the front lines.

Go to the Front Lines

In the front lines, you'll witness a confrontation between the General Gorou and Kujou Sara. After their discussion, Sara will challenge you to a Fight of Honor, in which you'll need to defeat three of her strongest soldiers.

Defeat the Shogunate Forces

First, you'll be up against Fujita Sanshirou, the Spear Demon. The battle is easy, as you can use your Elemental Skills. Next is against Kayama Tadao, the Bamboo-breaking Tiger, and last will be against Kujou Sara's right hand, Takazaka Izumi.

Afterwards, the Resistance will battle it out against the Shogunate Army. The first phase of the battle will be against the resistance favor until Kokomi, alongside the Kazuha, Beidou, and the mercenaries help the Resistance turn the tide of the battle to their favor.
