You can repeatedly invite Ayato to a Genius Invokation battle once you reach Player Level 2! You must use a Match Invitation Letter when inviting him for the first time.

Strategy Against Ayato's TCG Deck
Use Burst-Hypercarry Decks
Ayato will try to stack Equipment cards on each turn while also inflicting Frozen and Vaporize/Melt. This could be disruptive against decks that rely on multiple character combos as these reactions can easily disable a character.
Try using Hypercarry decks where one or two of the characters can endure the attacks while you set up your main damage dealer—like using Yoimiya's burst before sweeping the other side of the board with Ayaka.
Be sure to have Starsigns and Iron Tongue Tian to pull off this combo easier.
Noelle Hypercarry Deck is also a great choice against Ayato!
