| Domain Description | The Jinn once used this place as a free theater and a paradise without sorrow or care. The people of the desert wastes also once used this place as a ritual site to remember the ages long past... But all these joys and sorrows, like a false mirage, would disappear amidst the flow of the Ley Lines. |
Altar of Mirages is a one-time challenge domain in Hypostyle Desert, Sumeru. You can find the domain in the underground ruins of Khemenu Temple, but you'll need to get clearance to access the locked door.

You can unlock the Altar of Mirages domain by going inside a locked door in the ruins of Khemenu Temple, which you can open by obtaining one Half-Circle Clearance after completing "The Secret of Al-Ahmar" quest from the Golden Slumber series.

| 1 |  Teleport back to the ruins after completing at least the ''The Secret of Al-Ahmar'' quest in the Golden Slumber quest chain. |
| 2 |  Go straight ahead into room across the Teleport Waypoint. |
| 3 |  Turn right and go into the room with the giant broken down pillar. |
| 4 |  Find the closed doorway at the back of the room and open it with the Plinth of the Secret Rites mechanism right beside it. |
| 5 |  Drop down the hole in the hallway. Note that there's a Dendroculus in this hallway! |
| 6 |  The domain should be just a few paces away. |

The Altar of Mirages Domain will only give you rewards once, after clearing the Domain for the first time. You can challenge the Domain again at any time, but it won't give you anymore rewards.
