Edit: Okay she is useful for one team, permafreeze with Kokomi. If you already use Kokomi she would be a better second Cryo char instead of Diona (but not better than Shenhe) only because of the C4 buff.
Really bad char. Abysmal dmg, mediocre shield, slow cryo application and while the C4 NA/CA buff is good, it's ultimately way to weak to redeem her.
I think the problem with her is that she IS a sword user which is bad for some reason as there is no Sword weapon with HP substat other than the 5 star. IF she is a catalyst maybe she can rank higher in tier, being able to utilize TTDS

up to you if you want aa buffer/shielder or damage. Her dmg isn't really amazing. Characters in banners doesnt necessarily mean they're meant for each other. Look at Heizou for example, he has no synergy with tartaglia but they still in the same banner.
I'm assuming Layla goes with Childe since same banner, does that mean sub-dps or support build?

from hp scaling, zhongli still higher, but diona shield isn't a bad shield and useful in freeze comp
dude, Diona's shield is best just after zhongli's , just build her 30k + hp and don't use her against pyro enemies take thoma then ;)

She is. 4-stars Cryo sword holder, with shield and resilience ability

I REALLY hope shes a catalyst, but i saw a leak from the gameplay( not sure if its true) but shes using a sword so TvT disappointment. i would've loved for her to be on my team whatever weapon shes using, i feel like she would make superconduct really easy for my eula!!
saaaame. When I first saw her she looked like a spear or a bow user but when my brother saw her he told me she looks like a catalyst and I hope she is 😭😭
