Her shield even more helpful than Zhonglose, infinity Burst help for reactions. She's actual good, best when you can swirly things around. Never using shielder except Xinyan because of her off field Pyro but Layla was helpful unit.

I see a lot of people talking about how shields become useless in certain situations, but is that not true for literally everything? your main team will not be viable in every scenario but that does not make them useless in general. there are literally weapons and artifacts that rely on shields, and there are scenarios where healers won't work, such as using hu tao. shields are comfort picks, and there's nothing wrong with that, you cant dodge everything
