The Yashiro Commission is one part of the overseeing organization in Inazuma, called the Tri-Commission. Together, they handle all affairs relating to the cultural, military, and political responsibilities under the authority of the Inazuma Shogunate.

Amongst the three, the Yashiro Commission is by far the most neutral because of their seemingly non-political affairs.

Handles the Cultural Affairs

Genshin - Inazuma Festivals Yashiro Commission

The Yashiro Commission manages the ceremonial and cultural aspects of Inazuma. The Commission often works together with the Grand Narukami Shrine to celebrate festivals and other cultural events.

As a member of the Yashiro Commission, Ayaka is often seen interacting with ordinary people doing tea ceremonies and joining other festivities. In contrast, her brother prefers not showing his face in public to work with government affairs.

Currently Led by the Kamisato Clan

Genshin - Kamisato Clan Insignia

Ayato was young when the Kamisato Clan was crumbling due to the death of their parents, but because of his cunning and resourcefulness, he was able to bring the Clan from the brink of losing its power.

Today, Ayato leads the Yashiro Commission and all its affiliates, making him one of the most important people in Inazuma.

Shuumatsuban, the Secret Ninja Organization

Genshin - Shuumatsuban Ninken

While the Commission seemingly only handles cultural, non-political affairs, the Commission bears a secret ninja organization called the Shuumatsuban. Members answer directly to their leader, Ayato, and they carry out espionage and implied assassination duties.

Some Shuumatsuban members also have Ninkens, or ninja dogs, as their companions. It was revealed in Thoma's Hangout that the identities of Shuumatsuban Ninjas are held confidential, but Ninkens will stay loyal to them even after death.
