If you watch the sparkles in the perfect grilled range you will see 8 pulses of sparkles before one side turns burnt on the 9th. This is how you get the best recipes for the Mora. ;)

When I did the special recipes yesterday it was alright, it was easy to do but since they updated the instructions I have more difficulties doing them.
Thanks for the guide. I got all the rewards from the event by making all the dishes.
If your target is just primo and does not care the mora/crystal core, you can just cook 8 "Grilled Fish That Broke Through the Dimensions" and get the max friendship reward and be done with the event.
This event seems bugged or random as all heck - at least compared to the guide. I've only used Medaka and have completed every recipe except Wild...Pufferfish and Perfect...Bass. Got both ...Space and Time and ...Impressed Paimon while following instructions for Explosive..., then got Grilled for doing the exact same thing twice afterward. Attempted Exquisite Medaka and got it fine, but was also given credit for Explosive... on the same attempt.

I got "Amazing Grilled Fish That Impressed Paimon" with bass and flipped it once during cooking before flipping again at the end. Was trying to get "Charred Grilled Fish". Also a bit weird the article changes from calling it "Perfectly Cooked" to "Fully Cooked".
I got Explosive and Overloaded Grilled Fish with a Bitter Pufferfish by adding Just Right at start, continuously flipping then waited for one sparkle and pressing OK right away.
i followed the instructions for the explosive fish and ended up with greatest fish in teyvat.... this event clearly isnt an exact science

While trying to make "Explosive and Overloaded Grilled Fish", I followed the instructions too quickly the first time (flipping when I saw the animation rather than after it had finished) and got "Grilled Fish Beyond Space and Time". So you can make it with Medaka.
Thank you, that worked! Mine stopped steaming on the second step midway through the second steam animation, but I kept following the recipe and it came out perfect. So for me, it was: Medaka Seasoned "Just Right" Steam 3, flip Steam 1.5, sparkle 1.5 (changed in the middle of the animation), flip Sparkle 2, stop
