How to Unlock “Eye of Watatsumi”

Go to Watatsumi Island and Talk to Tsuyuko

“Eye of Watatsumi” is located at Watatsumi Island, in the nation of Inazuma. You can start the Moon-Bathed Deep quest after talking to the NPC Tsuyuko in Mouun Shrine.

The Fang of Watatsumi, Eye of Watatsumi, Fin of Watatsumi, and Tail of Watatsumi sub-quests will appear at the same time and can be completed in any order.

“Eye of Watatsumi” Walkthrough

Go to the ''Eye'' in Watatsumi

From the location where you spoke to Tsuyuko, you can glide west towards the shrine of the ''Eye.''

Read the Stone Tablet at The Eye

Go near the shrine and read the Ancient Stone Tablet. It will give you clues that there are three ''eyes'' or seals located South, North, and West of the Island.

Use Elemental Skill to Find the Seals

Use your Elemental Sight to find all three ''eyes'' in the small island. There will be a purple indicator pointing towards it.

Use Pyro or Cryo Against the Electro Seal

Once you find an ''eye'' use an Elemental Skill or an Elemental Attack that counters the Electro on it. Cryo and Pyro are effective on it!

Break the Three Seals Over the Shrine

South Eye Seal

Go South first then use an Elemental Attack to unlock the ''eye.'' Defeat the Electro Slimes that will appear.

West Eye Seal

Head back to the Shrine then go West then use an Elemental Attack to unlock the ''eye.'' Defeat the Anemo Specters that will appear!

North Eye Seal

Go North and defeat the Ruin Sentinels near it, then use an Elemental Attack on the ''eye'' to break the seal on the shrine!

Obtain the Spirit Pearl

Go back to the Shrine and get the Spirit Pearl. Afterwards, you can go to the next shrine location! If you have broken the seals on all four of the shrines, the Heart of Watatsumi will appear next!
