How to Choose a Bait and Rod

Since the Lunar Realm objectives require you to catch specific types of Fish, you'll need to use the appropriate Bait and Rod. Take a look at our Fishing Guides and learn which Bait and Rod are used to catch each Fish:

How to Complete Objectives

To complete the Lunar Realm objectives, you need to catch specific Fish types within a time limit. Each stage will have a different set of objectives, so you'll have to change the Bait and Rod you're using frequently!

Catch up to 50 Fish a Day!

Lunar Realm Fishing Spots respawn Fish non-stop. After catching the limit of 50 Fish, all Fish you catch from that point on will automatically be freed. Freed Fish will be counted for the challenges though, so no worries!

Note: The limit of 50 Fish per day only applies to the Lunar Realm Fishing Spots. You can still Fish in the regular Fishing Spots in Teyvat after reaching the event's daily limit.

Even after catching the limit of 50 Fish, the Fish you catch and free will count towards your Fishing Achievements.

Objective : Catch fish successfully 10 times while always staying inside the Ideal Tension Zone.

How to Catch the Event Fish

Once you've uncovered the mystery behind the Lunar Leviathan, you can use the Glowgrass Bait from the event to catch the Mysterious Ornamental Fish, which was revealed to be the Moonfin!

If you run out of special baits for the event-exclusive fish, you can talk repeatedly to Kujirai Momiji for it then you can set it together with the appropriate fishing rod before casting it!
