A Doctor's Odyssey Achievement Walkthrough

Bamboo Basket Location

After finishing Treatment on the Island World Quest, you will be able to interact with Yasumoto's basket. The basket is located near the lone house resting on the side of a hill and near the giant bones of the Serpent in Yashiroi Island.

Leave 12 Naku Weeds in the Basket for Two Days

You can find the basket near the front door, resting near the wooden fence. Interact with it and leave 12 Naku Weed. On the next day, a Treasure Chest will appear.

Where to Get Naku Weed

Repeat for Two Days

Continue placing 12 Naku Weeds for two days. Make sure to get the Treasure Chests as well!

On the third day, you will find that the basket is still full.

Find the Pharmacist's Notebook

You will not be able to interact with the basket at this point, so use your Elemental Sight to trace odd locations. There, you will find the Pharmacist's Notebooks that will tell you what happened to Yasumoto.

Go to Jakotsu Mine and Open the Treasure Chest

The final Notebook tells you a hint that Yasumoto will go to the southern shoals of Yashiori Island. The area he is referring to is Jakotsu Mine.

On the coast of Jakotsu Mine near the Waypoint, you will find a basket full of Naku Weed and a Luxurious Chest. Opening this chest will reward you with Primogems and other items, and the achivement A Doctor's Oddysey!

Look for Pharmacist's Notebooks

Pharmacist's Notebooks can be traced using Elemental Sight. Follow the hints towards the specified locations!

The first notebook is found on top of these boxes.

Pharmacist's Notebook 2

The second notebook is found near these stones, next to this lantern and the broken fence.

Pharmacist's Notebook 3

The third notebook is found under the shade of this Otogi Tree, near the rocks.

Full A Doctor's Oddysey Achievement Walkthrough

	Walkthrough
1	Collect twelve (12) Naku Weeds to put inside the bamboo basket
2	Put the 12 Naku Weeds into the basket and wait for 1 off-game day (using the in-game time control function will not work).
3	A treasure chest will appear when you get back to the area. Put another set of 12 Naku Weeds into the basket, then wait for another day.
4	Another treasure chest will appear in the same area. Then put another set of 12 Naku Weeds into the basket, then wait for another day.
5	Return to the area, and you will find no treasure chest. Use Elemental Sight to follow the traces leading to another location.
6	Once you follow the end of the trace, you will get your first Pharmacist's Notebook. Read it and follow the hints to get the general location of the next notebook.
7	Continue the process of reading the Pharmacist's Notebooks you have acquired to get all three (3) of them.
8	As a bonus, once you complete all three of them, go to south of Yashiori Island (to a shore near Jakotsu Mine). You will find a Luxurious Chest waiting near a basket full of Naku Weeds.
	This location is hinted in the third Pharmacist's Notebook, where Yasumoto goes to try out the effects of his medicine.
7	Open the Luxurious Chest to get the A Doctor's Odyssey Achievement.
