To unlock Stage 3 of Thunder Sojourn, you have to talk to Muzhen in Ritou and start ''Crossing Unknown Storm Clouds.'' Complete the quest to begin the stage challenges!

Start the Fight Challenge
Go to the different challenge locations in Inazuma to begin playing the challenges!
Summon an Electrogranum
Summon an Electrogranum with the Sakura Thunder Boughs near the challenge mechanism.
Link up with Nimbus Gems
Approach the 3 Nimbus Gems in each round to link up to them and receive buffs. Make sure you stay within each Nimbus Gem's range while fighting, or else the buffs will disappear!
Nimbus Gem Buffs

Shockwaves created in this manner have a CD. |
Defeat all the Enemies
Defeat all the round's enemies before the challenge time ends. Note that each location has a different enemy/set of enemies, so you may have to change your party members every now and then!

Weaving Lightning Recommended Characters
Use Shield and Anemo Characters
Some of the challenges will have enemies that you can group together, so use Anemo Characters during challenge rounds for crowd control! You'll also need Shields to protect you while you stay in one place for the Nimbus Gem buffs.
