How to Unlock Stage 2

To unlock Stage 2 of Thunder Sojourn, you have to talk to Muzhen in Ritou and start ''Tracking the Thunder.'' Complete the quest to begin the stage challenges!

Lightning Round Event Guide

Start the Challenge Fights

Go to the challenge markers on the map and interact with them to begin the fight. There are many challenge locations, with each location having a specific set of enemies!

Summon an Electrogranum

There's always a Thunder Sakura Bough in the challenge area. Summon an Electrogranum for additional damage!
How to Use Electrograna

Charge the Thunder Dwelling

There will also be Thunder Dwellings in the challenge area. Charge the Thunder Dwellings up to unleash a wave of Electro and damage nearby enemies!

How to Charge the Thunder Dwelling

You can charge Thunder Dwelling up by summoning Electrograna, being affected by Electro, or using Electro Attacks. Stay close to the Thunder Dwelling and watch the charge meter above it fill up!

Defeat all the Enemies

Defeat all the enemies within the time limit to complete the challenge. Note that each challenge location has a different set of enemies, so you might have to change team members every now and then!

Lightning Round Recommended Characters

Use Electro Characters

Using Electro attacks will charge the Thunder Dwelling up faster! Bring a good passive Electro damage-dealer, like Fischl, to charge the Thunder Dwelling up while in battle.

Use Shield Characters

You're going to take some hits if you stand around the Thunder Dwelling while charging it, so we recommend bringing a good shield character!

Use Anemo Characters

A lot of the challenges will have multiple enemies that can be grouped together, and you'll also want them near the Thunder Dwelling when it explodes. We recommend bringing some Anemo characters with you for crowd control!
