To unlock this quest, you have to complete both the main Event Quest, The Origin of the Lantern, and the first Lantern Rite Tales quest, City of Chores. Some quests are also time-locked, so check back once the event progresses!
This quest can be found under the Lantern Rite Tales part of the event where you have to complete requests all over Liyue Harbor to increase your Festive Fever level.

| 1 |  Talk to Hongyu at Liyue Harbor. |
| 2 |  Head to Mt. Tianheng and climb the tree branch to collect the Xiao Lantern. |
| 3 |  Head to the next marked area west of Mt. Tianheng and defeat the Hilichurls guarding the Xiao Lantern to collect it. |
| 4 |  Go to the marked area at Jueyun Karst and defeat the enraged hilichurls. |
| 5 |  Talk to Flash-Fist Ling and collect the third Xiao Lantern. |
| 6 |  Head back to Liyue Harbor and talk to Hongyu again. |
