The Origin of the Lanterns Quest Guide
This quest can be found under the Lantern Rite Tales part of the event where you have to complete requests all over Liyue Harbor to increase your Festive Fever level.
Lantern Rite Tales Event Guide
Brother Qian from the Liyue Adventurers' Guild is inviting people to play a certain game.

| 1 |  Go and talk Brother Qian near the Northern Bridge of Liyue at 21:00 (Nighttime). |
| 2 |  Go to one of the lanterns and rotate it. |
| 3 |  Once you rotate one lantern,Talk to Brother Qian again so he could tell you what shape you are forming. |
| 4 |  Rotate the lanterns until you see a full shape of a Glaze Lily. Then examine the Illumiscreen to check where the treasure points are. |
| 5 |  Teleport to the Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern near Mt. Aozang and go to the Treasure Spot. You can find the Treasure Chest on top of a Shrine of Depths. |
| 6 |  Teleport to the South of Wuwang Hill. You will find a Treasure Chest at the waterfall, which is guarded by Cryo Slimes. |
| 7 |  Teleport to Sal Terrae and head to the Treasure Spot. You can find the Treasure by digging up the hole which is guarded by Treasure Hoarders. |
| 8 |  Head back to Liyue Harbor and talk to Brother Qian to finish the quest. |
