The point of the 3* weapon is you use Albedo's E then switch out, his E still uses his weapons stats and since its a 3* its very easy to get refinement 5 which gives the weapon a total of 28% crit chance and as you level the weapon up it can get 50%+ crit damage making it amazing on him as long as you play him that style.
I feel like festering desire is way better for him than the weird 3-star weapon choice. Especially since the event gives us a fully refined version just for playing the game. (12% extra crit rate on his E and 32% extra damage on it too!) All in all i really like this character and i'm glad i pulled them. Gonna go for a sort of mish-mash of atk set bonuses and def main-stats with some crit dmg substats sprinkled in there for spicy sustained damage.
This post has a lot of flaws where they didn't even make sense please review before posting and what previous comment is true you're just copying and lasting then that's sad do research and reviewing before officially posting

I often find so many mistakes on the guides posted on this website. Not to mention that it gets change every couple of days. It's hard to come here and find a guide for builds cause theyre either inaccurate or they get changed so often it's very inconsistent. Childe's page and builds got updated several times and I always come back finding a different build or a different weapon each time.
Who made this guide? Electro DMG bonus on a Geo character? Geo DMG substat which doesn't exist? Aquila Favonia and Prototype Rancour when most of his damage isn't Physical? Summit Shaper I can understand, but wouldn't Festering Desire be a better option considering it has an amazing passive, and we can easily enhance and refine it through the event? Why is "Low Elemental Burst cooldown and energy requirement" a weakness? That's good! What makes him a S-tier exploration character?
Electro damage boss is so OP on Albedo! It just do nothing!
Hello game8, please fix your Albedo page and check the others' comments, otherwsie, you will lose credibility and lose page visits for posting unreliable information especially from newest banners.
