Albedo is the 1st 5* I pulled. Back then I loved him, later I benched him for Hu Tao but when I got Yoimiya, Albedo made the scene again. They should update the list of who Albedo is good with. Joymiya works insanely well with Albedo! I also don't agree with Albedo being a SS tier for bosses. His flower never lives more than 2 seconds...

The burst scales ONLY on attack. Unless you have C2, then it deals up to 120% extra damage based on defense.
im confuse. where does the Rite of Progeniture: Tectonic Tide scale? base on his DEF? i mean the burst skill itself not the random damage.
HoD is actually the best for this boi. I was used to bring Festering D. But since I took a look a lot of videos reviewing the HoD, I put down the FD and directly replace with HoD. The damage noticeably increase from 10k to 12k. (FD LV.88 and HoD LV.80)
yes,but crit dmg from this and crit rate basically makes it a very op artifact. Plus you’ll be using him off field all the time and saves a lot more space for crit dmg. Every albedo user who does their research almost always use HoD since he’s meant to Be Burst-Skill support dps
But Rancour increases DEF which in turn increases the damage of Transient Blossoms.
No hod is by far his best weapon. The base attack is low, but it provides high crit dmg as main stat and crit rate from passive. You don't even need attack from him since he scales with Def. Since he is a support, he mostly remains off field, so its easy to keep his hp above 90% and you will have the 28% crit rate from R5 hod's passive most of the time.
Don't ever use 3-star weapon. It's trap.
his elevator is kinda annoy more than useful.
His elevator has helped a lot for exploration
Another weakness that he has is that he is the only character who cannot generate elemental particles using his elemental skill (aside from characters like Barbara and Qiqi whose skills do not ever generate particles) against enemies who are immune to damage.

Actually, Albedo helps in making Weapon Ascension Mats and not Character Ascension Mats like Xingqiu.
Festering desire is also very easy at max refinement from event.
