The Adventurer set is one of the earliest sets available in the game and will drop abundantly throughout all Adventure Ranks.
The 2-piece set bonus gives a solid HP boost especially for characters whose skills scale on HP. The 4-piece set bonus is a situational one that would help manage a character's HP while out exploring.
The Set Bonuses, while good at low Adventure Ranks, become quickly outclassed by sets that offer raw stat bonuses.

• Barbara's healing scales on HP so the 2-piece set bonus will increase that. |
 Zhongli
|
• For Zhongli who's source of damage is HP, the 2-piece set is a good start-up to boost it. |
 Hu Tao
|
• Hu Tao's Elemental Skill scales on HP so the 2-piece set will be enough to give it a boost. • If using Hu Tao to explore an area filled with chests, the 4-piece would help manage her HP. |
Adventurer Set Recommended Uses
A Steady Source of Upgrade EXP or Mora
Even at higher Adventure Ranks, the Adventurer set will often drop from chests and bosses. While the set will no longer offer benefits as equipment, it will serve as great upgrade material for stronger Artifacts or can be scrapped for Mora.

Effects with a * can both be a set value and a percentage. For Example: ATK +10, ATK+10%
You can get a maximum of 4 bonus substats on any individual artifact piece by enhancing it. The bonus stats you get will be random and will not include the artifact's main stat.
Once a 5-star artifact has 4 substats, every 4 levels of enhancement will upgrade one of the available substats randomly. You can get a total of 4-5 substat upgrades.
